  3. Phil Always a bonus to find more details in a kit then the manufacturer lists on the box. Keep 'em comin Peter
  4. Phil In 1/48th scale, their latest Hurricane Mk1a # Ao5127A is a gem. I have the kit and agree how good it is. Keep 'em comin Peter
  5. Guys Kai read my post and I mistakenly read Gaz's post incorrectly, there was nothing in the post about his Dad. I removed the comment from my post and sent a PM to Kai. Please accept my apologies. Peter
  6. Hi Kai

I mis-read Gaz's post .. his Dad isn't fading away, it is the day is fading away .. I removed the reference in my comment. Please correct your comment - my fault.

  7. Gaz Nothing like sanding, filling, sanding and filling and sanding, unless it's the scribing that has to be replaced caused by all the sanding and filling. Your making nice progress, just seems as if it's a never ending task. Nice subtle work with the shading on the pilots face - looks so good. I guess I'm one of the few that still does the oleo's the old fashioned way: gloss black over primers and then Alclad Chrome. I've been wanting to try the chrome pens as they seem a much better way. 8. Kai love the subtle weathering in the green - looking so goog Keep ‘em comin Peter
  9. Oliver 🏆🏆🏆 simply amazing work of the highest level Keep ‘em comin Peter

  11. Wolf superb work on the Spandau’s Cooling jackets and ammo chutes jumped right out at me - they look awesome . Paint work and lower wing decals are simply flawless. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  12. Martin Glade you decided to stop boycotting Trumpeter and bought their Hurricane kit. Looking forward to following your upcoming build. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  13. Gaz, how true.. I have a bad habit of sometimes buying on impulse (sure hope I'm over that) and in the long run, I come to the realization I'll never build them and then selling them at a loss: note to myself to change my ways.❗ Peter
  14. Mike Beautiful done and the perfect accompaniment to the model. Keep 'em comin Peter
  15. Brilliant work. Ten hours on a wheel and only four more to go! The kit is surely not only a magnificent, a true replica down to the last nut and bolt but a sure fired test of the builders patience and skill. Keep 'em comin Peter
  16. Thanks Kai I never think much about those white stripes until I look at the model and some of the pic and then it drives me crazy. Keep 'em comin Peter
  17. Thanks Hubert, very much appreciated. Just a terrific kit and a pleasure to build.
  18. Kev Weathering looks light and so well done. Good luck with the needle procedure on Tuesday and hoping the few rough days goes as quickly as possible with the least amount of pain and discomfort. Keep 'em comin Peter
  19. Completely agree that masking with 'worms' is a lot harder then meets the eye. A few years back, I enjoyed building this 1/48th scale Kfir and spent a lot more time then I ever thought masking with blue tack. I discovered the key for me was to make the worms as thin as practical and consistency in thickness. Applying them was another story as the thinner I made them, the more they wanted to stretch. I do have a question regarding the Kfir - what what are the stripes for on the inner leading edges? Keep 'em comin Peter
  20. Gaz Some mighty nice correction work and a load of time as well, needed to fix all the inaccuracies. Completely agree with Kai that in today's age, how a kit can be so inaccurate other then 'good enough is good enough'. Only time will tell how accurate ZM's 109 and 190 will be. Keep 'em comin Peter
  21. Gaz Nice start with the oils on the face. Diffusing the flash will help soften the light and also hold back the amount of light from the flash. I'm not sure of what type of camera you are using but in the settings menu, there should be a flash setting, so you can hold back a portion of the flash out put - fill flash. Keep 'em comin Peter
  22. Kai Sweet - super progress on the cammo. Your Blu tack/worm cammo looks right on. Nice going. Keep 'em comin Peter
  23. Thanks Paul Tamiya just never fails to amaze me as they just keep raising the bar with each new kit. Right now I’m working on the missiles and fuselage parts so when the F4 rolls into the paint shop, all parts that are exterior white can be primed and painted in the same few sessions. Keep ‘em coming Peter
  24. Mike Looking forward to the p;ics. Keep 'em comin Peter
  25. Mike WOW - and the speed at which you work is incredible Keep 'em comin Peter
