More like Dark Side of the Moon, Diamond Dogs, Caught Up (Millie Jackson), Let’s Get It On (Marvin Gaye) pretty eclectic mix of genre but all classic sounds…….

SAS Jeep and F/A18 awaiting the the booth time, I needed to build……. One returning to the hobby back in 2016 /17 I bought the Tamiya KT having built this back in 1974, I thought a legacy build would be fun. Didn’t want the standard so why not the Porsche turreted version. Coming from a design industry who couldn’t admire the lines. This old Tamiya mould is from 1993, so 30 years old. It has horrendous vinyl tracks, why oh why Mr T. My thought back then was through all the AM I could bar metal tracks. So here we are. The kit is showing its age against new moulds but it’s a sentimental build…….in hindsight and having and hopefully moved my skill level on from those early, I probably wouldn’t have spent so much on AM and probably would have got a stunning Dragon KT with magic tracks…..

Welcome back, life and circumstances have a horrible way of getting in the way of time at bench………

Much appreciated PW, it was a lot of work but really enjoyable. The only AM were the barrels in hindsight not really worth the cost, they were half the kit price, albeit I got the kit on evilbay….I have the FAMO & Sd.Ah.116 from Tamiya in the stash circa 1999. Comparing the 7 to the Famo, chalk and cheese. Wish someone would kit a really good Famo with all the bells and whistles……I thought the ready ammo would be a nice touch as I’m thinking about pairing this with the Border Fw190 in the same scale in a Jabo protection role……..no idea on the division I’ll check…….

Just for a giggle Carl, count up how many “in progress” builds……..if I remember when we did the Get Wet GB you had a very nice Vosper MTB…….

You would think that’s 48th, excellent. I need to learn how to do dioramas…..

They are the excellent Dragon Magic Tracks, individual track links in plastic. They can be made to be workable depends on the track being built….. one of the reasons I rate Dragon…….

Thanks, the barrels were Aber but the kit ones would have been just as good. Would not want to be on the other end of this……..

I finished this Flakvierling awhile ago and never published the completed project. Dragon delivered as usual a stunning kit and albeit with confusing instructions and joy to build. I have noticed a couple of items that in hindsight should have been fixed……. The WIP is here Completed pictures with figures that are very badly painted but do give the model a context of size…..

I have the AK chrome pen and that is amazing……..

Only ever done armour in 35th but why not In any other scale…….

Stunning PW, I’m looking forward to this build. I’m having a run on half tracks and wheeled AFV’s at the moment. I have my eye on IBG Bedford QL Refueller in 1:35 to sit beside my Border Vb…….

A recent evilbay find, 1/3 of the RRP so very happy. A departure in genre, looking forward to this one……..stash back up to 20 which is perfect…….in RAF livery this will fit perfectly within the 1/35 Spit Vb …….
