Be really interested in a review of this, to my knowledge Kinetic never did a F14 so this may fit the void? Anyone had experiences of AMK? -
Totally agree on the PE for this, number of times I’ve had this in the basket on a site or on eBay but never pulled the trigger…..

This gem dates back from 1974 but the original tooling was 1972, over a half a century ago……I reckon this was one of my last kits I built before girls, cars and partying took over my life. It is showing its age with part lines and a little flash but the nostalgic value is amazing. Not sure if to do a WIP, I’ll leave it to you guys…… -

Rob, hmmm send it to the SOD ……..leave to mature for year and then reapply mojo……. -
Chris, you’re right, how many times when looking at a finished project do you look inside, cockpit, turret, cabin……..I for certain, very rarely. Now I’m questioning putting 3D IP panels in anything. Half way through the Kinetic F18, added RedFox panels, cannot see a lot of them……

Tidy and precise as ever Peter. Only ever built one Spitfire in my life, I guess the time has come? After looking over the Border Fw190 (in stash) I might wait for their Vb, with full engine etc on preorder for £57.50 here in UK……..that price sounds good to me compared with double for a Tamiya offering……..time will tell……

My apologies, this passed me by. Perfect weathering and battle damage , you can almost feel the weight and roughness of the castings. Congrats perfect in every way. Also the first 1/16 AFV I’ve can actually say looks convincing….. -
Now let’s put this in perspective……….

Must admire your German grey truck and the weathering, just finished a Sdkfz 7/1 in grey and it isn’t easy to weather grey and make it look convincing….

Thanks Jeff, very much appreciated ..

Thanks Peter, I’m enjoying these jet things, I always procrastinate about schemes but I do like the subtle CAF scheme………
