  1. SPECIAL HOBBY PLASTIC MODEL KITS Fiat G.50bis/G.50bis/N ‘Fighter-Bomber & Navy Fighter’ 1/32 Art.no. 100-SH32089
  2. I’m to damn mean to double the price of a kit on tracks. One reason I like Dragon and they’re Magic Tracks but I do have a real problem on my last Tamiya kit in the stash with vinyl tracks. That’s it on Tamiya AFV’s never again……
  3. This is the Tamiya 1976 version in 1/35……
  4. Or bottles of Airfix enamels, I still have some as keeps sakes…..…in the vein of Monty Python……ha tins….bloody luxury……….in my day………
  5. Still have a collection from that period, having a Badger airbrush was a dream then…….
  6. For me that’s 10 years modelling in those two pics……
  7. Thanks Carl, I doubt I’ll ever go down the 1/16 road but it would be interesting…..
  8. LRDG jeep with a few modifications, apparently these were heavily field modified. With the 0.5” the designation becomes “heavy section”……..ready for the booth and some extensive weathering……this is still a good base for a 48 year old kit……
  9. Looking forward to the builds……
  10. Get well soon Peter and hoping you’re back the bench soon…..
  11. Together with the Chevy I did back in 2019……
  12. Not a lot of benchtime at the moment, the LRDG jeep cracks on. 0.5” robbed from a Eduard Sherman and some nice Resikit sand channels bought for the LRDG Chevy. Base coat on more to follow and a lot of weathering plus then loading of all equipment…….all wheels are detachable at the moment…..
  13. A little late but welcome to LSM, amazing start to to a complex build. Any new updates………..
  14. Rob, Have a nice break and refill the stash.
  15. welcome aboard, I haven’t built anything at this scale but it intriguing to know what’s possible, love the weathering. Thanks for sharing….
  16. Has SWMBO known as Mrs S……..been informed of this……..or are we under the radar again……
  17. I trim them off the sprues and bag them up with kit name and scale tag on the bag. IKEA do some lidded storage boxes which are hard shell and are ideal.
  18. That’s one thing that worries the heck out of me is retiring then the health problems begin. Now at 64 and a bit, still working but working on pulling the handle very very soon and hoping and praying that I can keep myself together to enjoy my sunset years…….
  19. I want one………being looking at Thunder Models for awhile, this going on the wish list……
  20. Chris, sorry to hear your news, hopefully this will make life a little more comfortable…….
  21. Thanks for the history, I’ve never built any post war AFV’s perhaps so perhaps the venerable Centurion / Chieftain may be be required. I’ve recently discovered Mr Hewes and his passion for everything post war British AFV’s. Will be following this closely……..
  22. Stunning build, congratulations, way above my skill level……..
  23. Mark. Stunning weathering, never ever thought about doing agricultural vehicles, hmmmmm piqued my interest……..
