This is such an inspiring work Peter. I really want to pull out my Airacobra from the shelf of doom and slap some paint on it. I probably should finish something
-
Well let us fix it up a little Spad XIII and Caudron are on the way. Nothing wrong with a new giant manga robot on the shelf, but .... https://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=12196.0

Titanic was spoiled by Celine Dion, but the idea of building it’s sister-ships is brilliant. -

Hi Peter, despite the bad reputation of USAF cobras, they still have insanely high cool-factor. I am going to finish mine in VVS colours, just as a tribute to the Russian airmen , they loved them and were able to utilized this unorthodox design to the hilt. That’s correct. I am using revell fuselage and wings and cannibalizing trumpeter for additional detail. -

I had a thread on LSP, it s basically dead now, but still there are some pictures and useful info left. I should probably get back to it before I loose my eyesight completely :). Peter are you planning to go with Russian or US marking?

Interesting info here

Excellent choice Peter, you are probably familiar with this walk around . Yet Im going to hang it here, since it's the best preserved/ unmolested one in the world. http://walkarounds.scalemodels.ru/v/walkarounds/avia/before_1950/p-39q-15/?g2_page=1 Cheers M.

Not as clean as above presented work, but I’m certainly having lots of fun with the old Revell’s Wildcat. -

Love it! Such an unusual subject. -
Absolutely, very nice detail on that puny thing. And because of you Phil I picked up Tamiya with some recon nose conversion . I will give a shot to the dreaded haze blue Well , that's the plan LOL
