  1. Ok, but , where is the saddle? Nice setup my friend, something to admire.
  2. Also the T-34 had floating trucks, where the pins were not secured in the links and as the tracks move they are passing a point on the hull that presses the loose pins back in. Check out the loose pins. Simple, smart and effective
  3. T-34 had 3 different settings, normal surface, one for hard surface and last one for mud and loose surface. This was done by moving the idler wheel up and down. 1. Body of wheel 2. Rubberized tyre 3. Crank 4. Toothed ring 5. Bracket 6. Worm wheel 7. Worm 8. Flange 9. Nut 10. Stop bolt 11. Casing of track adjuster 12. Roller bearing 13. Ball bearing 14. Spacer bush 15. Armoured cap 16. Armoured plug 17. Cover with gland 18. Castellated nut 19. Adjusting packing 20. Ring
  4. Good idea to hang them on the wall, fun little build indeed.
  5. It depends on the number of tires you put on top of them. Based solely on my subjective observation, they shouldn't be dropping by lack of pressure or weight (as it is in case of P-51 gear doors), usually as they are stored on the carrier, they are in relatively uniform positions , I would say "storage configuration" lock. Only deviations are the rudders. Lovely work Carl.
  6. I use to burn them. Once I set on fire 1/72 scale Aero C3A on the stairway of our apartment building. Epic black smoke was everywhere. Good times indeed
  7. Nice, clean work on that tiny thingie. I would probably inhale it by accident, without even noticing Cheers M.
  8. Sweet, it would be nice to shed some light on it
  9. It's a common theme all over the media. Seems to be relevant, but is it? Time to move on. WNW is dead and as of now, it is not coming back in its original form.
  10. I almost forgot how small the 1/48 scale really is.
  11. Firstly and foremost. We are making a big mistake by comparing Kotare to WNW. WNW is dead for a reason and I truly hope that the Kotare team has learned from that example. Moreover, Carl summed it up in the best possible way, they have to make money. I would love to see Lightning or Hellcat or Panther or even Voodoo, but how well will it sell ? We are entering the field of financial strategizing that might disregard our immediate needs. And again, disregarding what they are going to produce in the near future , it will be a highly researched and buildable kit. That's their benchmark and the biggest seller.
  12. There's always Trumpeter. And let me not forget their "A" team. 😈
  13. Let me talk to her
  14. Always enjoyable journey with your builds Peter, I keep forgetting that this is not 1/32nd scale. 👍
  15. Good job on this old kit. 👍
  16. Looking good Mike, Academy I assume?
