  1. Looks very nice, John!
  2. Looks great, Rob. The pin wash looks very tidy.
  3. I don;t know if I should be standing around looking at your can, Rob. Keep up the good work!
  4. Take care of yourself, buddy!
  5. Peter, Don;t feel bad. Your brain isn't rotting... It happens to all of us. Today I was applying decals to my 110. The aircraft has red 'no-walk' lines inboard of the nacelles. But this dodo... put them outboard. But only discovered after they were fully dried. I had to peel them and mask up the model to fix it. But the rest of your work looks spectacular.
  6. Nice progress, Rob!
  7. I never click on music links if they don't look like humor.
  8. Now that is some fine detail work, Kai! Love the back wiring! It just adds the perfect touch. Pilots look top-notch... and comfortable, too.
  9. Face painting in 1/48. Not perfectly happy with the skin tones... hopefully they look better with darker uniforms. But not gonna redo. Oils over acrylic base.
  10. Wow, that's something I never would have tried.
  11. Thank you for providing for my request, Rob. I never really envisaged 'senior' surfers before. I'm not really a water person, and without the context I've just let the image of youthful surfers dominate my perceptions.
  12. I wanna see a picture of you with or on your surfboard.
  13. Very nice work, Kent!
  14. Seems I've been sleeping Rob, while you have been working diligently with very fine results.
  15. Diorama planning in 1/48: If the painter's hand wasn't so small, I'll try to re-sculpt it a little. Just gonna have to make sure that the kill marks are that high.
  16. Thank you for running the raffle, Ern!
  17. This is a direct quote from the bloke that makes the stuff: "if your surface prep is good, should be fine but is best to mask everything else and spray the chrome on top rather than mask the chrome and paint around it." Also... FYI I've read you want to use a water-based clear over it to avoid dulling.
  18. It's actually a planet on the cartoon series Futurama.
  19. Merry Christmas, Ern! Hope you're feeling better soon, buddy!
  20. Looks good, John... Nice fit.
  21. And you people complain about RLM colors????
  22. Way back when I was a kid, Italeri boxes in the US had real pictures of the completed models on them. When I saw an AFV sporting MG 34's that looked more like Browning .30 cals, I decided then and there I wasn't going to use my allowance on Italeri.
  23. Painting on the Me-110. I used some recycled bills to cut the masks from... then stuck em on with blutack. Then pulled them off. The two greens give off a very 'brown' vibe. You may be wondering why I didn't do the underside first... Here is my reason: The RLM 65 and 71 are MRP paints... which aren't very famous for quick coverage. So I used a Tamiya RLM 02 to cover up the black sprayed for the fuselage codes. Merry Christmas!
