  1. I actually love the bagpipes. I've been trying forever to get a digital copy of Rare Air's Mad Plaid album. I borrowed a cassette from my cousin way back when and played it until the cassette player in my car ate it. But anyway... who wants to leave a good joke unused?
  2. I think it's revenge.
  3. Club meet today and a big score. The Italeri Crusader for 20AUD. That includes a set of Friul tracks worth 60AUD by themselves. Dragon Jagdpanther, 30AUD. Dragon Marder II with Bronco workable tracks 20AUD. AUD is worth 90 cents Canadian. Or 71 cents US. Or .62 Euro. And... .52 GBP
  4. Those springs are sharp!
  5. Just be courteous to your neighbors. One may be a Scottish Gentleman. And you know what the definition of a Scottish gentleman is, yes? A Scottish Gentleman is a man who can play the bagpipes... but doesn't.
  6. Sorry to hear that the Tornado is being troublesome. ...especially since I will build one. I may do mine wheels up....lol. It saves a lot of time. And I am tempted by the MW-1
  7. Looks sharp!
  8. impressive work, Rob!
  9. I wouldn't be surprised if the barrel wasn't bent a little. Trying to drill out the bore and the sight put a lot of pressures on it. Lead foil would be handy, I suppose. The wife and I don;t like wine, though. Thanks, mate.
  10. Thank you, Kai. I have thought about tape, actually. I'll have some learning to do, for certain.
  11. Hello Friends, Meet another component of the build. Some Luftwaffe infantry. In the Wehrmacht, the major role of the of the infantry squad was to support the machine gun. These guys have full kit. Canteen. bread bag. Mess tin. And personal weapons. Each one of them is like a tiny kit in it's own right. I haven't even touched the heads yet, and each kit will require some kind of strap whether it be the NCO's binoculars or the rifle straps of the two ammunition bearers. I didn't accomplish much on this weekend. Not looking forward to fabricating straps and slings. I'm debating on whether I should use brass foil, or smash some lead wire flat and cut it to a desired width. I also have some placement errors to fix. The directions weren;t very helpful in placing the mess tins, and I just found a photo showing me the right way. Happy modelling!
  12. I feel like I'm looking up a taller-person's nose.
  13. This kit (6168) has the feel of a Tamiya kit. Not many fiddly pieces at all. The suspension is fixed, like a Tamiya kit and there is no PE. The only area with a lot of parts are the indy link tracks... which only took a few hours in total to separate from the sprue and clean. Apparently this kit has been re-released. There are no interior parts whatsoever. 2-piece barrel. You'll need AM grill screens.
  14. Thank you, Rob. Sometimes... I look at the figures and wonder how many more months this will add to the projeckt. Thank you, Kai. Me, too. My last 1/35 figures were a little more rough than I wanted. Thank you, Peter. From my twisted mind, my friend. Thank you!
  15. And here are three snaps of Kaiser. Don;t let the soft eyes and innocent expression fool you. He still resists potty training.
  16. Toybox., my wife says. Where they can go and grab stuff that they know they are allowed to play with.
