Yes- he sold it to a new owner just before Xmas ( Facebook ?) ....just after I'd been binge buying tracks just in case .... Good news though and stockists seem to have them back again ...and he's not banged up the price either . Result , go Gabor ! New and old owner below ...I might be a lil bit of a fan of their tracks ....

Post B-word , some European companies find it hard to ship to the UK , especially when it comes to claiming back VAT tax . When in Europe it was easy , now they have to be registered as a company in the UK to claim it back I know this from my professional life trying to import machinery spares post 2019 . I'm assuming the cost of doing that outweighs the value of the market, plus the arse of customs wondering about imflammable liquids etc . What we need is a decent model shop in Calais that we can day trip to , like all the beggers bringing back cheap cigarettes / wine in the 1990s.

Not much to report other than I now own a resin cockpit and a white metal ladder. I' not. huge AM fan , as most of my stuff get sold anyway, but this one if it turns out well will be a keeper . Need to finish the sub and the mossie first though.

Double trouble ...Brisfits . Thought I'd try a slightly harder biplane , double bay . Both get good reviews, Roden is better detailed and more tricky... the Eduard a bit easier according to reviews .

I don't think time's been too kind to this moulding, (1975 ish ?) although it was pretty much the only game in town for a long time and I know it's been re released again . My recollection of the Tamiya M3 is the terrible tracks that struggled to sit nice , no engine, and the "80mm" tub armour , the walls and doors are sooooo thick . I know AFV Club launched some last year which got good reviews .

I think you maybe right , i did look at HR Hobbies website last summer ( they had basic colours only then) but now apparently according to some other f'rum ... It seems Alclad split into a UK and USA operation. So, if you're in the USA, don't worry, it's business as usual. In the UK, Alclad became HR hobbies but Alclad (USA) weren't happy as the two ranges were too similar. So in the end, the UK paint is now distributed by Mig, after slapping a nice little premium on the price ! My thoughts on ammo are they would bottle 2nd hand dogfood and sell it as a "modelling texturing product" if they could ....snake oil salesmen and I've never got on with their bottle paints much . * *Just my opinion , if you love their stuff thats ok with me , no need to get upset.
