  1. That book (er all three of them now ) is a complete rabbit hole. 😄
  2. I remember building that Sabre Dog and thinking it was way cool colour scheme. It was still new ish then ( 1975 according to Scalemates) For my sins....... I've gone a bit Kriegsmarine this January ....I know this got kinda mixed reviews over the years esp the canopy, but finding any replacements seem a bit like the U Boat , most have ceased production . Any specific advice appreciated .
  3. Pfalz is complete , glamour pix tomorrow ...... However I am now going full Boot !! 36 inches of Revell goodness....Mrs Womble liked the sea scene I made with the 144 version a few years ago , so she advised going with another full sea scape rather than on stand or blocks, always handy to have a sounding board. Saddle your tanks up , this will be a big build. Not sure how much "other stuff" I will use , the Eduard extra look nice but will add 50% to the cost . Up periscope number one , and yes I'll be watching the film for a lot of it .
  4. Thats going to be a lot of shelf space, esp if you deploy the MAD
  5. Nice build , I built the old 1970's Airfix one a few time as a yoof , I know they launched a new tool , this looks miles ahead of the old one .
  6. Got to love a good old K-Whopper . 👍 I found myself over Covid watching a lot of Canadians doing these up for some reason . This guy likes making movie star trucks , this one is from the film "High Ballin"
  7. Exquisite work Rob , no way on earth I would have tackled making that kit of Arizona ,it looked a terrible starting point , but such a great ending .
  8. I love the diversity of your builds , different scales subject and approaches, like them all but that Tomcat is abso-freeking-lukly awesome .
  9. I like HB armour having built a couplethey are very generous with the parts count and options . Mouldings and fit were good too . Should be a good build
  10. I had the Trumpy 37mm version .....but .....four parts to a track link .....200 links a side .....no metal AM available .....got "sold unmade" 🫠 Good Luck !
  11. Been using it today ,level of control at low flow and low air is outstanding , but that is comparing it to lessor airbrushes like an IWATA Neo / Gaahleri 39 , which are half the price . I'm loving the atomisation , having done nothing different with the usual Tamiya paint.
  12. Best kit or best release ? No Airfix fan me, but they walloped it out with the 1/48 Sea King , Bucc, and Gannet this year. Haven't bought any of them yet but will get around to it as a FAA enthusiast . Need a nice Jaguar next.
  13. Amazeballs on the squid eyeballs !!!!!😄 On my bench a little little Pfalz ...
  14. New airbrush ....Harder & Steenback Infinity CR plus 0.15 / 0.4 needles . Treated myself....the finish is gorgeous .
  15. Beautiful work . 1/72 has come a long way from the kits of the 1970s
  16. Thanks Kevin ...I may treat myself in the New Year . EDIT ...nope just bought both of them ...ach well .😳
