Nice project , as a long time LR owner......... for authenticity I suggest you need to drill numerous rust holes in the chassis out riggers, rear cross member and probably the corners under the windows on the front bulkhead. Then dent most of the panels and make sure the doors aren't a great fit . Cover it all in mud , and don't forget the oil leaks from the diffs, gearbox, transfer box ..and maybe the engine for good measure. ..Love them ...hate them ..it's complicated. We run a pair of Freelanders now as daily drivers , but every few months .....the voices in my head whisper.... Back when I used to do more 1:1 scale.....

Ok .....Kurt's a bit more pleased with this result ....not quite there...... but looks more in scale he thinks ....but what does he know at 1 3/4 inches high ? Getting close to pulling it all together . ...

I watch too much Deisel Creek on youtube........ cna clearly imagine how weathered this will get. Great build of an interesting subject, all the extra bolts etc go a long way too. Link to one of his Cat shows
