Slowly but surely things are taking shapes.
Made some plastic card shims to close some minor gaps on the rear cowling parts.
The oil coolers are on. Don't try to blend them in, since a small step is supposed to be there.
I expected the cowlings to give me a bigger fight.
Also putting together the bomb racks. No Eduard here, since I'm keeping the windows in this section closed.
Thats one pretty big 3d printer!
When people say 3d printing is kinda taking the easy route I can tell them wrong.
In many cases it's easier to make something form plastic card!

I wonder in what areas windmills like these would be found. It looks russian.
It doesn't look like the type we have here in the Netherlands.

OK. As described my many, the fitting of the engines to the wings is awkward to say the least.
Lots of patience and dry fitting is needed to get a perfect fit.
Almost there. Then some small filling, sanding, describing and then..... riveting!

And made some headway with the power eggs:
They'll need polishing and riveting now.
