  1. Progress! Since all is going so slow, I decided to focus on just the props. Added the rivets to the domes and painted the buggers.
  2. Oh wow!! Saving those to my HD! Cheers!
  3. Progress! Smooth work! The hurricane had an open structure that allowed you to look inside the wing. This was solid?
  4. Holy wow! So you couldn't wait for the two seater to come out?? Some cool scratch building here... Following this!
  5. Hi There! Welcome! You should try Acetone.
  6. There she is!! That looks amazing. Thank you for sharing this here!
  7. Looks great. My experiences with all parcel companies are shite, so it's choosing between evils. Looking forward to ordering here!
  8. The Doctor is at it again! Beautiful work as always...
  9. The glass nose is on and no seam or joint in sight! Strolling through Ebay I stumbled on the rear sight of a MG15... Couldn't resist... I will drill a corresponding hole in the wooden base (in one of the corners) to accommodate this...
  10. Its a cool kit. Well done!
  11. Glad you didn't bin it! Shit happens... Good that you give it a rest. Cheers
  12. Love that added detail in the gear wells. Can't wait to get my hands on one of these.
  13. Dang this kit looks nice... great start..
  14. They won't be visible since the don't border on the edges. Quite nicely engineered.
  15. Masked the inside of the glass nose and removed the masks. Added wiring to the back of the instrument panel, added and detailed the bombsight. Some additional instruments and bits and bobs need to go in here before i can glue the nose to the fuse.
  16. Not entirely. The H6 had a different front dome glazing. But for 90% it will.
  17. Holy Crap. That is one impressive kit. Not my cup of tea but i can appreciate the quality! Great review Jimbo!
  18. Thnx! The Montex masks are fine.... on flat surfaces. But can be a pain on 3d rounded surfaces. That's where I prefer the Kabuki Eduard masks:
  19. Great attempt of de-lurking! Looking forward to better pics of this sweet subject!
  20. Hahaha! No spank you! This kit takes me ages!! So to be honest: I'll be glad when it's finally done...
  21. Sweet, smooth and sleek. As always!
  22. I'm not sure what it is but this model is addictive and yet bad for progress. Quite slow building. Researching. Mediocre fit. The Eduard masks are incomplete. Luckily i also have the monte window masks. I prefer the Eduard Kabuki, but am settling in some places for the montex masks, since they include the inside window masks, Especially inside the glass nose dome masking inside is a must.
