What's the biggest part you have lost during a build

Believe it or not but I managed to misplace the Fw-190D9 wings of a Trumpeter 1:24 kit!! Never found m again. Yes. I suspect the missus. -

Sweet. Nothing like building a Hasegawa kit to get the juices flowing. Right Cees ? -

Ooooh.... I love that seat. And the corrugated firewall... Lovely work! -
Hahahahaha! And I think Cees is already asleep!

Hahaahaha! Yes! I remember sitting there for well over an hour. That was actually the moment I started experimenting with the technique even though my body language seems to say I'm bored out of my mind Well spotted!

Thank you! Looked at some more photo's from right after the capture and see what you mean. Yesterday I spotted that the english markings were painted over the large cross and didn't quite understand. Now i do. Jim's builds cannot be compared to mine, since he gets a lot off magazine commission requests. In that sense he also builds 48th scale (which aren't featured here on the forum) and is not always allowed by the magazines to post during the build. He and I are very close friends bound by black humour, which can sometimes cause confusion )) Anyhoo! I'm going to spray the second and larger swastika now and perhaps the english markings later on today. I will add the white outline of the higher swastika later with a white pencil. Cheers!

Jim the Kettle? I don't follow.. I scourged some old masks from my spare parts box. Trying to figure out the layers of paint that i need to build up. I'm slightly sanding the black swastika paint down to get a faded look. The swastika you see here is the original one, positioned higher than the US painted later one. Sandwiched between these old and new swastika is the RAF red white and blue square.

Even though I shouldn't be starting any new builds, this GB is a great excuse! Here we go!
