Lots of splicing and dicing there Ernie. Nicely done too. I don't always remember the measure thrice, cut once rule myself.

Carl

I don’t either, Carl. Case in point:  on the starboard side, notice the extra line of Milliput trailing the lower edge of the big panel?  Yep, I drilled to the next panel line back and showed my true schlemiel.

The GT nose does really make a difference.   Just looks "right" compared to the kits.

The kit's nose looks way, way to long and pointed.

One thing guys,  Trumpeter’s attention to detail,.... isn’t.

The vents below the refueling probe are just depressions on the Trumpy Kit. Drill out Theron d one and install a pipe, and openthe vent on the other one. .

Go over the entire aircraft and compare to pictures. Much is missing or incorrectly depicted on the kit.  A bit of work now gives huge rewards later.

I assume your talking about the circular hole below the probe. Also, a very interesting observation.   The refueling door is depressed.   Is that its normal position or is that a result of sitting outside for years on display?

I haven’t found any pics at all of the F rear pit, Mark.  I’m certain it’s less advanced as the G, but who knows for sure?  But,.. the search continues.

Tony, that’s the only picture I’ve ever seen of a depressed refueling door.  I’m sure it’s just not quite closed, because if you notice, both the refueling probe for the drogue and the recessed door for the flying boom receptacle are slightly open.

And yes, if you look at the kit plastic, that hole is represented on the kit as a depressed circular area, much like an ejector pin mark.

I Yes, it looks like there ARE drastic differences between the two.  Apparently, the F rear panel was a virtual duplicate of the front because it was used as a trainer.  But,...   the EF-105F wasset up as an ECM bird so the rear pit should be closer to that of the G?

F on top, G on the bottom in color

Hmmmmmmm

Easy. It is most likely in the 10 biggest boxes, if not THE biggest box.
