Peterpools Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 Jeroen Geez Louise. nothing .. you did all the work. Just incredible looking and to think I'm struggling with my PE work on the P-39, which is pale compared to the complexity of what your are doing. Keep 'em comin Peter 4
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted May 13, 2021 Author Administrators Posted May 13, 2021 Flaps done. Turned out a little easier than i thought.. preparing all panels for RLM02. And there are quite a few.. 9
DocRob Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 I love the shine of brass in the morning. Nice work Jeroen. When I made PE flaps, the most important thing was to plan ahead the bending sequence, to not corner yourself. You mastered yours obviously. Cheers Rob 5 1
Peterpools Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 Jeroen The flaps look absolutely perfect. I now know you and Rob have the PE bending fingured out and for me .. I still paint myself into a corner. Keep 'em comin Peter 4 1

I just take my time and try to really work out the sequence. You PE work looks fine to me! 3
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted May 14, 2021 Author Administrators Posted May 14, 2021 Started work on the canopy. The thin PE cables are flat, so i replaced them with thin brass rod. 9
Peterpools Posted May 16, 2021 Posted May 16, 2021 Jeroen Beautiful work and thank you for the kind words on my PE work Keep 'em comin Peter 3

Peterpools Posted May 27, 2021 Posted May 27, 2021 Jeroen The Final Inventory looks fantastic Keep 'em comin Peter 1
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted May 28, 2021 Author Administrators Posted May 28, 2021 So.. the HGW rivets were a disaster. Followed the instructions. Even got the right Mr Mark softener, but about 20% of the rivets stayed on the carrier film. Ah well! Back to old school riveting. 2 7
DocRob Posted May 28, 2021 Posted May 28, 2021 I feel your pain, having for the moment ruined my 48 scale Hellcat with HGW's wet transfers. My result was more or less the same, 20% of the transfers were lifted by the carrier film, uncool . The inventory pic looks like a magazine shot, great. Cheers Rob 5 1 1
