Peterpools
Mark Wonderful news that your wife is coming home from the hospital and job number one is taking care of her as she recuperates. Nice progress on the Viggen and OMG, she is BIG. Yes, some filling is needed but considering the complexity of the kit and it's resin, the overall fit is amazing. mark31
thank you all time for primer but first some masking Now the fun part will start Masking this beast I have the set from Dn models but screwd up So lets mask it the hard way old fashion by hand. Hours off fun Mark 7
BlrwestSiR
Great progress there Mark. What issues did you have with the DN masks? I've used their masks on other projects without any issues so maybe I can suggest a fix. Carl
Peterpools
Mark Right with Carl and I also have the DN Mask set. Of course, I never used masks before - nothing like learning on what seems the most intricate mask set available. An advice and guidance would be so greatly appreciated. When i whant to do the feuselage xith all the curves i screwd up I think the big problem is the mask is 2D and your modelis 3D The masks from DN looks great but i think its notting for me after 15 min off ugly words to get it good i ripd them off and go to mask my self I think i have to learn how to use them It isnt a easy camo to do even with masks 30 minutes ago, Peterpools said: Mark Right with Carl and I also have the DN Mask set. Keep 'em comin Peter Good advice take your time and dondt loos your patience when placing them The fault will be compleet my own with the screw up Do now the harder way mask every single piece by myself Will take more time but will be fun. Kaireckstadt
Great progress Mark! You will mask the splinter camouflage the oldfashioned way? Wow, that’s a real challenge! Curious to see! 3
Peterpools
Mark I'm with Kai, the Viggen cammo masking done without the masks is going to need nerves of steel - but if anyone can pull it off, my money is riding on you. Peterpools
Mark Absolutely family first and hobbies a distant second. Hoping your wife is continuing to doing well with rehab and every day she will be better and better - just takes time. Your Viggen is coming together mighty good - lots of sanding and filler but no where as much as I thought a limited run kit of this size and complexity would require. Can’t wait to see the Viggen in the paint shop. Keep ‘em comin Peter

Found a bit off free time so lets play with tape and paint. No preshading done or fading the paint. That will for later i think so 3 off 4 collors on on a small part off the wing to get the idee. 7
