The drawings below show the layout of the belts from a sideview so you can see which way they thread through the buckles. The top one is the shoulder belts, the bottom ones are for the lap belts. 3

BlrwestSiR
Thanks guys for checking in. This build is moving along a bit faster than I expected, especially with the occasional fit issues I've run into. Anyways, the internal details around the cockpit tub are now done. Which meant I could get the wing in place. Once I do some seam cleanup, the engines can go on too. Here's a test fit.

Just catching up on the GB as I'm finally getting close to finishing the Jug and starting my GB build. 2

Peterpools
Carl Nice work on the office and the belts look awesome. Some terrific progress and you absolutely proved, panel covers can fit, when designed to be open with lots of work and an equal amount of test fitting. Looking mighty good. 2

BlrwestSiR
Thanks folks! The encouragement is helping me continue to work on this kit. I did a quick prime to check the various seams. Looks like there's going to be more filling and scribing in my future.
BlrwestSiR
Happy Chinese New Year folks! It's been a busy couple days as a result so I haven't had as much bench time. I did get the seams all cleaned up. It needed a fair bit of touch up. The engine nacelles are now glued on as well.
Martinnfb
Pre-paint prep work is such a tedious part of the build , but it looks pretty sleek already. Happy year of the dragon Carl. 4

BlrwestSiR
Time for an update. I finally received my paint masks and decals for the build. So I spent some time today starting on the canopy masks. They're made by New Ware and are precut. I picked the inner and outer set since I'm planning to have the canopy open. The New Ware masks work nicely. The fit is good and I like the option of being able to mask the inside.
Peterpools
Carl Looking good and thanks for showing su a new masking company; can never have enough, as some much is always out of stock.

BlrwestSiR
With the canopy masked inside and out, I painted the inside in RLM66. While I had the airbrush out, I decided to start on the 262. I preshaded the wings. Then it was time for some RLM83. The pre-shading is still there, just a bit subtle which is what I wanted.

Just ordered masks (Eduard though) for the He 111, Ju 87 and my last T-6 Texan kit. 1

I have an AM radar set from Master but the details are different so I'm trying to decide what to do. I may just replace the vertical poles with wire and leave it at that.
