Upcoming Group Build Poll

Per Hubert, Maybe allow TWO votes, and we do simultaneous group builds of the top two categories to see if we can get more folks involved?  That might just be too much.

I'd say we do a 'Speed Build" GB but we all know @JohnB would kill in that category!   The only way I could come close is to do a 1/72 Snap-build kit that was pre-painted....  And then I still think I'd place a close second..

Those are some good looking schemes Chris, I think I like the #7 best though. A scheme you don't see every day! 🙂

John, I like that one, too.  As much as I do like the splotchy camo (and bought the Grex airbrush JUST for that!), #7 is definitely different.  But the Eduard kit is 1/48 scale so I don't think it qualifies for the GB.

Excellent!  That means I'm -3 on kits from the stash this year so far.  Win-win!!  If I can keep this up by the time Nats rolls around next year, I'll actually have room to replenish a bit.

I'm also getting super excited about the Sandbox GB. Still thinking and narrowing down my choices, I'm now looking at two 1/48th scale AIF aircraft

Not released yet

Both aircraft cammo differ from the present day cammo in that the green is a lot darker and should be FS34258. 

Just need to see which if the Mystere is available when the GB is launched.

Paul, just be aware that the colours in that camo scheme are incorrect. They shouldn't be that blue. Otherwise the Caunter scheme is a cool camo.

Paul, check out this thread on Britmodeler. Although it's about the Stuart, there's a post with a couple pics of Matildas showing the correct colour scheme versus the incorrect one with the blue.
