Administrators JayDee Posted March 13 Administrators Posted March 13 Just got these from Hannants, ready for the 1:35 He 111 landing here. Ignore that code on sheet 4
BlrwestSiR Posted March 18 Posted March 18 I saw some scribers made by Madworks from Taiwan being used and wanted to give them a try. I found a shop that had the size I was looking for in stock so I ordered them. Then I noticed they had the Bandai 1/1000 Ginga in stock and for a great price too so that got added to the cart. I placed my order Sunday night and they delivered it yesterday at 10 PM. Which cost me $3. Carl 4
BlrwestSiR Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Not just something shiny. Not just a squirrel. A very, shiny squirrel. Actually a cherry, very big, shiny squirrel!!! 😆 For size comparison, here's a Tamiya Spitfire box on top. The instructions are...111 pages. I think this may take a bit of time to build. 5

I haven´t showed it, because I´m still waiting for the Kosmos LED set. 1 1

Cheers Rob They're a lot brighter and seem to run longer too. I'm hoping they make one for the RX-93 as the Bandai set at $200 for 5 LEDs seem a bit much. 2

It´s not a lot you get for the asked 200 bucks. Five LED´s and a bit of electronic, deeply unsquirreling. Cheers Rob 3
BlrwestSiR Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Bandai not including the LED set has been the biggest complaint about the kit. 3
PanzerWomble Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Knowledge , because I'm stoopid like a fox and wasn't aware of this , but acetone cleans up superglue , everyone knew but me . No more lids sticking to applicators. woot 2

Spitfire Posted March 20 Posted March 20 These three beauties arrived earlier in the week, I did not think that 2026 would be a kit rich environment, I had the Airscale Typhoon and Kotare Hurricane on order and that was all that was pending. However Hannants decided to start a Gift Voucher service, I mention this to my daughter and got one from her for my birthday, below was the result as I already have their Early and Mid Mk.I so a Va was needed. Then my Airscale pre order arrived. Then Hannants just had to have a sale on, I normally do not build many Luftwaffe subjects but due to some great online builds and a £69.99 price tag the following arrived on my doorstep and will be my first Kotare build after I finish the PCM C202. Cheers Dennis 8
BlrwestSiR Posted March 20 Posted March 20 A nice collection of very lovely kits there Dennis. And a fantastic gift from your daughter too. Carl 2

I haven´t showed it, because I´m still waiting for the Kosmos LED set. My Kosmos LED set for the Unicorn Gundam arrived today. It looks fairly comprehensive. Each LED seems to be labelled to what the location for it is. There is the slight issue of it all being in chinese though. Thankfully Google Translate to the rescue! Main lighting harness. Smaller one for the shield. Remote. Even a metal nameplate. 4

Is it the red light set or with RGB color change for a clear psycho frame?. In any case, the name plate says, your unicorn has a thermonuclear power plant, so you never need batteries for your LED´s . Cheers Rob 2

Bandai released the kit with different coloured clear parts but anything other than the red ones were limited issue and more expensive. If the reactor ever quits, I can plug it in with a USB thankfully. 3

I don´t want to tempt you Carl, but there is a clear psycho frame for the Unicorn out there and a dedicated multi colored LED set from Kosmos. Mine is red and I stay wit hit for my first Gundam build. PG Unicorn Clear Psycho Frame | Transparent Replacement Kit 1/60 – Takara Model Studio Cheers Rob 1
BlrwestSiR Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Oh, that's good to know. But I think one PG Unicorn will be enough for me. I also have the Full Armour version in the MG Ver. Ka series. 1
BlrwestSiR Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Went to see Project Hail Mary this afternoon and came home to the latest stash addition. 4

BlrwestSiR Posted March 29 Posted March 29 We just got back from Heritagecon. I saw some SBY models that a vendor was selling for a great price so I just grabbed the pile of them. First up was the Yamato herself. Then a couple of the enemy ships. Another vendor had a model of my second Civic so that was next. Thankfully there's a stock option which I'll go with. I then picked up some 3D printed figures from a new company. So last year in the show raffle my son Edward won the just released Italeri 1/12 Lancia Stratos kit which he promptly gave to his friend who was also there. This year, he won again. Yup, a ZM 109. I bought him a nice Gundam kit and traded him. Carl 4

The Badger is 90% done but I lost it. Yes, the tank is somewhere but not in the box. I want to finish it so I can get rid of the box but need to find it. 1
