rieser Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Hasegawa's 32nd scale Ki44-II. Base painting with Floquil silvers. Markings with home-made masks and Tamiya acrylics. Rivets courtesy of RB Prodn's Rivet-R tools; exhausts by Quickboost; and monofilament/superglue blobs for the aerial. Thanks again to Ron Cline for the port-side wheel bay door decal replacement. Thanks for looking. Cheers, Ralph. WIP thread... http://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/3357-132-hasegawa-ki44-ii-item-08220/ 10
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted February 28, 2015 Administrators Posted February 28, 2015 Ralph... followed your work on Facebook. Such an immaculate piece of art you've produced. Again. Very inspirational. Makes me feel sorry I sold my unbuilt Shoki... 2

tomv1987 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 What a beautiful kit Ralph! Spectacular! I want to use your technique on my bare metal kits. Tom 1
ophthoidoug Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Outstanding! I've seen the photos so I know how weathered many Japanese aircraft became but I often look at a model and feel its been spoiled by overzealous and/or unrealistic weathering. Everyone has their own taste but to my eye the finish on yours is perfect. 1
