crazypoet Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Jeroen- that last piece looks like part of the engine pylon...? all very very cool - and it makes me profoundly grateful that I wasn't living that history at the time... 1

Nice call. And indeed. What a time that must have been to live... The piece you see is the fairing behind the cockpit, that connects the engine to the fuselage, of a Reichenberg. The manned V1.... Very rare....
GusMac Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Nice photos Jeroen. That's a lot of impacts in a 5 month period or so. Shows just how important it was as a port at the time. 1
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted May 19, 2017 Author Administrators Posted May 19, 2017 Jim sent me his Schlepper to make this ensemble complete! Cheers! Another daunting and intricate multi media kit, making this build more extensive than I planned This schlepper needs to mate with the Anhanger. For some reason two of these four rods were missing from the Anhanger kit, so I did some scratching, robbing from other kits and tingling. All in all this model will be pretty long and needs a long piece of plint to display it on. 1
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted May 20, 2017 Author Administrators Posted May 20, 2017 This is an amazing walk around too: http://flyingheritage.com/TemplatePlane.aspx?contentId=88
Administrators James H Posted May 20, 2017 Administrators Posted May 20, 2017 You are awesome. So awesome I want to give you applause. Loving the work so far. The Schlepper should help with weight up front and balance it out a little. 1
DocRob Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 Nice execution on the Schlepper parts, Jeroen. You sure now how well spent the money was you put on a good PE-bending-tool . It is almost a shame to cover everything up in paint. Cheers Rob 2
GusMac Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 As Rob says, excellent work with the PE. Just out of interest, do you solder yours or use CA? 1

Administrators JeroenPeters Posted July 23, 2017 Author Administrators Posted July 23, 2017 Absolutely hating Photo Bucket... Here's a direct upload to the forum and shows the finished Schlepper. The only part I'll install later is the seat, to make painting easier. 4
GusMac Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 Looks great Jeroen. Like an old Matchbox kit with all those colours!
DocRob Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 Wow Jeroen, the "ugliness" of the maschine is translated into a piece of beauty by your work . You should leave that thing unpainted. Cheers Rob
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted August 6, 2017 Author Administrators Posted August 6, 2017 I think it's almost ready for paint. Few small parts to go on the trailer and V1. 4
Mauricio_1971 Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 Great build of a very appealing subject. But unfortunately most of pictures are gone, any chance to recover them?
