Peterpools Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Oliver Just remarkable. Hopefully at some point you will have discovered all the hidden details needed for the diorama and then off to the paint shop. How did you meeting go with the Armor builders on painting secrets? 2

Hi Pete to be honest I am about done detailing this truck in my head. Well, not so forth coming with secrets if you ask me so it's back to modeling books. I have to buy a bit more primer paint I think. 3 2
Peterpools Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Oliver The amount of work you have done really shines in these photos. Sure hope you will find he books needed and then crank up the old air brush. 2
shark64 Posted May 19, 2023 Author Posted May 19, 2023 Well, that needs to be dealt with. ...large plastic piece for the seats frame. 2 1
Peterpools Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 Oliver Perfectly done - the amount of detail is so brilliantly done. 2

I am working on adding the inside frame to the soft cover in the front. I am debating on adding the windows halfway down on the doors since the doors will be open (it requires a bit of work). The hood is not flush with the frame and needs a bit of superglue work. Will post photos soon. Oliver 2
shark64 Posted May 24, 2023 Author Posted May 24, 2023 Hi not so sure I dig the doors with the windows down, mmmmm!!! 5 2
Peterpools Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 Oliver, right with Harv - awesomemated for sure 🏆 2
shark64 Posted May 26, 2023 Author Posted May 26, 2023 I just can't decide about the doors. One side with the window almost looks odd. Feedback welcome. 6 1

HubertB Posted May 27, 2023 Posted May 27, 2023 Like you, I find the windows a bit odd myself. I’d probably do one door with the window fully up. It would then clearly show that the other one is down, by modeller’s choice, and not mistake (as if you could do one ) Hubert 3
Peterpools Posted May 27, 2023 Posted May 27, 2023 Oliver I'm right with Hubert and the right-side door window just looks too odd and out of place. Both sides should be at the same height or one fully down and the other fully up. 2
Bomber_County Posted May 27, 2023 Posted May 27, 2023 Just catching up Oliver, absolutely stunning, words fail me……… 3
shark64 Posted May 27, 2023 Author Posted May 27, 2023 Thanks Guys. I glued the Window frame by mistake (easy fix)I think I will do windows up. This helped me. 3
shark64 Posted May 28, 2023 Author Posted May 28, 2023 The windshield frame attachment had to be recreated since the kit part was sanded off. I am working on all the little details I missed during the build. The back wheels have no space between them so I have to created a small space in between to duplicate separation. 5 2
Peterpools Posted May 29, 2023 Posted May 29, 2023 Oliver Brilliant detail work as always - simply incredible - just a joy to follow your work 1
shark64 Posted May 30, 2023 Author Posted May 30, 2023 Remade the doors and added clear windows. I will need to paint the inside of the window frames before I glue the two halves together. Still need to detail the doos. 5
Peterpools Posted May 30, 2023 Posted May 30, 2023 Oliver Just enjoying following your progress and incredible attention to detail.
shark64 Posted June 1, 2023 Author Posted June 1, 2023 I think this is it in detailing. Finished remaking the review mirrors, it took few days to complete. I added wipers on the small windshield windows. I am finally ready for primer. Oliver 3 1
