BlrwestSiR
I finally got around to taking pics of my WNW Junkers D.1 A fun build. Certainly a great intro to WWI aircraft Here's the WIP for those interested. https://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/7291-wnw-junkers-d1/ Carl 8

DocRob
Beautiful, and the NMF-job emphasizes the refined and sleek lines of the Junkers. You can clearly see, that something new was looming construction wise. Full metal planking, single wing, advanced aerodynamics and simplification, a milestone. I always wanted to buy one and finish it in NMF too, but was to lazy. Who knows, maybe one of these days... Cheers Rob

It's certainly different from the typical WWI planes. 5 hours ago, Bill_S said: Nicely done, Carl! Thanks Bill 5 hours ago, harv said: Tep, she's a keeper . Thanks Jeff! 21 minutes ago, Bomber_County said: Stunning, how did get away with not ruining the corrugations............ Phil, for the most part the fit was good and just the wing leading edge needed a quick cleanup. I lightly sanded the edge with a sponge style sanding stick and then did the creases with a razor saw. The saw was on the thicker side so it fit nicely and only took a short pass to clean up the seam. 2
