You have great talent, and I'm sure I will learn something, and it will be an interesting build, a rather cool looking airplane....

Resin! LukGraph made very good looking resin kits.

The price will be around 120/140€.

Right down my alley. It's not the first time I'm eying a Lukgraph kit, but until now, I ordered only a beautiful casted rotary engine from them. The Friedrichshafen could be my first full resin plane I guess.

Cheers Rob

I was always hoping that Wingnut Wings would do this aircraft.  So now I will also buy my first LukGraph kit !!!  Happy 2021

So...  for those of you who have built Lukgraph kits before I pose this question:

What are the struts made of?  I can't imagine trusting much weight on resin struts.

Although I really like the shape of the plane...  I really don't want to have to deal with resin dust.   I just don;t want to wear a mask.

I am not saying there is no resin plug on some parts, but Lukgraph kits are not like HPH ones. They are more in the league of Fisher and Silver Wings, i.e. among the best ones.

I have a prominent. narrow nose.  Paper masks just don't work for me.  I have to wear a proper, rubber sealed mask, otherwise dust and air just flow down into the gaps in front of my eyes and into my nostrils or mouth.

I have a thing for planes on floats. I'm pretty sure the images are CAD renderings, but it looks beautiful!
