The Kitlinx guys in Phoenix said there were plans to re-release the old PCM library so it's probably new tool. -

Nice, the cockpit is gorgeous! -
Well it's finally done, rescued from the shelf after seven years! 1/32 Trumpeter P-40B/C done in the markings of Robert Neale's "White 7" of the AVG in Kunming, China in June of '42, CO of 1st Pursuit and the leading AVG ace with 15.5 kills. Decals are from Kits World mostly and were excellent. I started with Tiger Wings decals which look great on the sheet but we were so thin and brittle they were mostly unusable. Big, big shout out to my buddy Rick Kranias who provided me with the two side windows for the cockpit after I broke mine. Details: BarracudaCast resin wheels Master brass MG set SAC landing gear (only because lone of my struts got lost) Cockpit corrected with left over parts from Azur Hawk 75 and some scratch-building Kits World decals Paint: Mr. Color

Top notch work, Peter! -
And of course that's the way it should be. Lots of models I would never build myself out there but still enjoy seeing them built by other people.

Can't tell whether they carried over the "midget" cockpit from the B/C or not from the photos, hard to tell.

If someone has this kit in their stash I was wondering if I could get the cockpit tub dimensions. I ordered the kit when it was first released and pulled it out the other day and discovered my kit was missing the cockpit tub so I'll have to try to scratch-build it. Yes I know should just wait for the Z-M kit but I already dropped over $100 when this was released and am too damn cheap to to write it off!

Indeed there is. The Revell kit is OK but still fell a somewhat short as far as I'm concerned. I prefer the Hasegawa G-6 which is really a nice kit but availability is spotty at best. Still plenty of room for a new G-6, I'm looking forward to it!

Wow! Good news but not holding my breath, the 190s were announced a few years back and don't appear to be anywhere near close to being released.

Peter, 3 years, 11 months. Wish I would have started federal service sooner then I'd be looking at Feb of 2020 vice Oct of 2022. Need to get my 30 years in to get the full retirement annuity. -

The struggle is real, Martin! Just think if HKM does the Ju 52 and at some point you know someone will do a He 177.
