    Nick, yes the cowling is definitely lacking, I actually looked into modifying the cowl from a Hasegawa D-9 to graft on to but that would have been more effort than I really wanted to devote to the kit. Some scratch-building or conversion in this area would be a big improvement.

    Jimbo, I picked up a couple of nice wooden folding tables from IKEA. Very sturdy and easy to move around if you need to as well. They came unfinished, I believe they're made of birch. Very reasonably priced.

    It's got a few warts but the engineering is pretty solid. The fit overall is great, the lower cowl assembly is the only part that I'm not happy with, had the same issue on the G-6 I built. All three kits really have their own unique personality though.
