  1. And considering that you seem to have bought aftermarket sets which you have forgotten about, that is all the more curious. But coming in handy in this case. You probably have developed a sixth sense for it. Cees
  2. Well that is one great subject, looking forward to seing this build evolve. Carry on Cees
  3. Although not very large scale that looks like a very nice package. Great review Jeroen. Cees
  4. Amazing work as always Peter. Would it be an idea to make the lower sections of the floorframes a bit longer and slighty less in width so you can slide the top part of the frame over them? Any discrepancy would be difficult to spot in the dark. Fantastic and a real joy to watch your progress. Cees
  5. Saburo Sakai by any chance? you have made an outstanding diorama. Cheers Cees
  6. Great work again Tom, Having that old Lanc vacform sure comes in handy. Do you just glue that strip against the edges of the vacform part or do you also fit scrap plastic underneath for strengh? With the fins on it will need to be rigid. Cees
  7. But they certainly do look nice. Cees
  8. Thanks Dennis, Never having seen that boxing. Cees
  9. Hi Craig, Good to hear from you again. That printer sure looks nice. But with the current development it will probably be obsolete within a year. Saw a program on Dutch TV about a guy scanning his crown jewels and then having them 3D printed Cees
  10. The funny thing is that Revell has also produced a Mk I Spit using the Hasegawa Mk V as a basis with a completely new wing that has recessed panel lines. The fuselage was unmodified though. Cees
  11. Congratulations, well deserved. Cees
  12. Buy with confidence Rog, There are aftermarket sets around ( not necessarily for this kit mind you) and IIRC it is also the basis for the various conversion sets that enable you to build the Griffon Spits. Oob they are still nice models. Cees
  13. Very nice job Wouter, Well done. Cees
  14. Tom, That's a pretty smooth surface to work with. Cees
  15. Modelling engineering at it's best. How do you glue such fine details without any smearing? Cees
  16. Liked the show, good to see your pics Erik, as some models were not present today such as the Privateer. Really wanted to see that one. Ceed
  17. Nice Erik, Just waiting for Jeroen to pick me up to go to Heiden, in about 15 minutes. so won't be seing you today. Bummer. Cees
  18. Same here. Hmmmmm Mk II. Cees
  19. I blame Tom for giving me renewed inspiration for the Manchester. Working on the cockpit for a change. The instrument panel has been made to fit. The navigators seat has been modified from a Special Hobby Buffalo. The cockpit instrument panels will be detailed using various pe sets by Airscale and Reheat. Cheers Cees
  20. That CMK stuff really looks like slightly modified kitparts. What's the quality like Jeroen? Cees
  21. Tom, You have a point there. I think the Manchester is about to grow a centresection too. Good for rapid visual progress. Cheers Cees
  22. That sure helps too. Interesting that you fit the centresection first to the fuselage. I intend to wait with the Manchester until the outerwings fit before doing that. Doesn't that make it harder for you to work on the outerwings? Cees
  23. Beautylicious! That turned out rather well, and unusual too. Well done. Cheers Cees
