  1. That looks very nice. Fuselage suffers a little bit from the starved cow syndrome. But no too much. Wingpanels look very nice. Well done Fly Models. Cees
  2. Red Baron would be nice to go with it. Cees
  3. hehe, no problem. Nobody would notice anyway. Cees
  4. Yes please and welcome to LSM. Cees
  5. Faaaaaaaasannnnnnntaaaastic. When you were mentioning this project recently I was hoping you were going for it. Thanks for that. Cees
  6. Regarding the flattop upper nose section, I came across this pic on the Aero Vintage Forum, it all seems so clear now. Cees
  7. Mr Miyagi says: paint on, masks off. Cees
  8. The Revell II is good enough, not perfect, but a nice kit. You should give it a try. Cees
  9. I think it's cruel to only build half models, you think you can get them at half price now? Tjeezzz. Cees
  10. Thanks Rog, Would make a nice companion to the Spitire I. Cees
  11. That's a very nice start. Never seen the green seat belts on German aircraft before. Two instrument panels? Are you doing two kits simultaneously? Really like the weathering. Cees
  12. Only pity is that the Mk I isn't kitted too. Cees
  13. Indeed, the Anteater looks like it's being fu.....piggybacked for comfort. Good news about the Lanc too, hope to hear more about that soon. Cees
  14. Looks very nice, and without modifying the tail? Looks every inch an Aircobra. Cees
  15. Strangely not many of these are being built, I wonder why as it looks to be a nice kit. Cees
  16. No, let another one bite the dust! Cees
  17. Thanks, This is my most favourite pic of the Battle of Britain depicting 610 Squadron Spitfires with unusual overlarge fuselage codes. I hope to do one of these, but have to do more research. Cees
  18. After spending months on hacking the Lancaster mock-up into a Manchester I got fed up with it for a while. Since completing the Revell Beaufighter last year I felt it time to do a quicky no-brainer inbetweener. The Spitfire I by Revell is the perfect candidate. This will be a high speed build I hope using minimal aftermarket and no hacking and sawing. Since yesterday progress is swift. Cees
  19. It's resting now. Visiting times between 14:00 and 14:03 monthly Cees
  20. Not to mention the fabric covered outer wings and wooden ailerons. But a classic type altogether. Cees
  21. Whoa! Craig, That's rough, but workable. Who said it's different to old school scratchbuilding eh? The difference between the two halves is obvious. Cees
  22. Not this night, bit fed up with the heavy brea..... sanding. Will do a simple kit in between, such as a Revell Mk I Spit. Don't worry, work will continue. Cees
  23. The cat's meow or the bee's knees. Very nice. Cees
  24. Early forts had opposite waist positions. But the gunners kept getting in each others way so later versions had staggered positions. The E had different control wheels than the f and g. Different engine cowls but to mention a few. Cees
