  1. Apologies to all concerned, that was never my intention. Steve
  2. A link to Jim's review of the updated ZM Ta-152 kit: http://www.hyperscale.com/2015/reviews/kits/zmsws11reviewjh_1.htm
  3. I would recommend BC... It is probably the most accurate 1/32nd scale IM Fw kit on the market. Some have problems with the fit, and it's overly complicated in its engineering in some places, but it's a spectacular kit when finished to it's full potential. If you're buying from scratch, get the H-0 variant, this kit has been re-tooled on some areas to improve fit and finesse. S
  4. That's an expensive piece of gym apparatus to have just for Leg Day... Some nice Ponies in this thread!
  5. This shot reminds me of the years we lived in Melbourne when we had real Pine trees inside for Christmas, and they way they looked around the end of the first week of January.
  6. Good work Mike, Those flaps came up a treat!
  7. You're gonna hate me, but... Is that a Fencer?
  8. T'was here... http://www.zoukeimura.co.jp/en/sentiment/oyajiblog_101.html
  9. £110 collected at Telford is starting to look like a bargain, especially if that includes the VAT.
  10. I have the perfect remedy Buddy... I go and ask the good Lady Wife "Is there anything I can do for you, my Dear?" After an hour or so, I strangely find that I have a renewed zest for the Hobby!
  11. Sci- Fi is a massive part of the Hobby now. My Brother-in-Law models and does mainly Macross / Gundam / Evangellion, the recent explosion in Pop Culture has made it a legitimate pastime along with the current Superhero craze. Hoping for some kind of Axis twin ( ZM Nick, Fly Ar234, HPH Fw189) but 2 months is a long time to hold one's breath.
  12. Most definitely. I drive a Heavy Vehicle, spending between 6 and 9 hours a day on the roads. By far the most dangerous Drivers (not worst; that's for another post, and excluding Mobile Phone users) are young Women 18 - 30 in small Hatchbacks. You see the occasional high-powered rear wheel drive vehicle breaking traction or speeding, but my biggest problem is small cars cutting up lanes, undercutting my blind spot as I'm cornering, pulling into my braking zone at intersections, and Drivers eating their lunches or putting makeup on.
  13. Local Mustang plate ( best viewed in the rear-view mirror)
  14. Thank you Rick. Oh, if only to have access to such treasures... Some further photos from a recent thread by Tony Kambic over on the LRG Forum: https://luftwaffe-research-group.org/threads/nasm-he219-radar-dipoles.12210/#post-48494 S
  15. Sorry Ern, misunderstood... Maybe they just need to get themselves a Hobby!
  16. I tend to disagree a little Ernie. I think it's a great resource, filled for the most part with talented Modellers and good people. However there's never any excuse for profanity sent in a private message by Moderators or Administrators of a website, no matter the perceived or actual transgression. And as far as I'm concerned; anyone else who condones those actions, whether Staff or General Membership, is tarred with the same brush. Had I wished them harm, I could have shown Ron's PM to me (or a copy of the one you received Ernie) to all of their Site Sponsors. Or they would have woken one morning to find the Kit Database full of profanity or missing altogether, as I was one of the original 9 contibutors with a log-in (most of the Fw190 entries were mine for instance.) But I don't wish them harm. I just want them to exercise the same self control they expect of others.
  17. Sorry Ern, Alan Troi was wondering aloud why people had mysteriously vanished. Then the thread got canned. But that would never happen apparently
  18. Convention has it that it was the skinny version up to the A-4. However there a plenty of examples in Mombeek's JG1 1943 book showing A-4's with them also. Theoretically all gone by A-5 production.
  19. Yes John, it certainly simplifies things when people's own words and conduct bring their true colours to the fore. Here it is again for the benefit of those late to the Party... Yes, it was very ordinary behaviour from the Administrator of another Site, wasn't it? Profanity, name-calling, abuse... and then Andrew followed up with the complete set by invoking Religion and Politics. All off limits on their own Forum, but fair game elsewhere. Complete lack of control, complete lack of respect, complete lack of perspective.
  20. Sorry Rick, I meant the actual moulding. Sometimes the Cottage resin product can be a bit imprecise in fit and finish. S
  21. Don't forget to use the skinny headrest.
  22. Rick, The tail shim... is the because the resin fuselage is a little out of whack at the mating surface?
