  1. It was the main reason I wanted it Ern. The other markings would be relatively easy to manage, but this set came with the small decal sheet as well, and the only other option for this bird are the long-OOP Aeromaster decals. I'm planning an R/2 or M/K 30mm cannon variant from every Geschwader that flew them... something for the long term (or the occasional Wurger party )
  2. My only score from this weekend's QMHE show... a set of Montex masks for Klaus Bretschneider's Sturmbock that I've been hunting for some time.
  3. You shameless Capitalist!
  4. It's fine Martin, we get it. Although I work with a few guys, who would go to that address and actually say " 'Herr', is there a 'Herr' that works here? I'd say his last name but I can't pronounce it... 'Ober-something maybe'?"
  5. Yes, be careful with a header like that... it might get you deported in New York City.
  6. A lot of extra work for an outstanding result Kent... well done! S
  7. Yeah, but don't wear it in public though. Batman might appear out of nowhere!
  8. Some further info here... https://robdebie.home.xs4all.nl/me163/vf241.htm I agree that it appears to be a re-paint of the upper wings and tail. Also refers to the see-through at the rear vents which show that there's no motor inside.
  9. Geez... I hope you're not also using Condoms!
  10. We have two English Cocker Spaniels. This, my Wife's hobby of keeping a marine reef fishtank, and trying to slowly renovate our little 3 bedroom house leaves very little time for much of anything else. The Sable is my Wife's girl. She has very strong prey drive, and I have her to the point now where she will sit when she sights Bird on the ground. She retrieves reliably and has excellent recall. Hunting for sport is banned here in Queensland, however the Sporting shooters Assn has a local group that meets with Gun Dogs where they have retrieving Trials; they shoot a blank gun and fire a dummy Mallard for the Dog to sight and retrieve to the Handler, and then time the results. I am inbetween getting them into this or possibly Lure Coursing / Agility, as my girl (Black and White) is quite headstrong, and we want an activity that both Dogs can participate in. Poppy sitting for Bird on this morning's walk. S
  11. Yep... safety protocols Buddy! Mask, gloves, and always sand / file / cut under water in an old icecream tub or takeaway container. I made this promise to my Oncologist before she'd let me back into the hobby. Resin is super toxic and carcinogenic. And none of those hokey paper masks either... go for a proper one with filters.

    Need hugs

My condolences Harv for the loss of your Brother. Hugs from down here... Steve
  13. I have his Ta152... the later copy with the resin wings. Don't sell yourself short, if the Mustang is anything like the Ta then there's quite a bit of effort to get it to mate up. It's well detailed, but there's a lot of resin to remove and dry-fitting to be done. Are there decals available?
  14. Welcome on board Ernie! Won't ask you to drop a dime on the whys and wherefores, but it's good to see you over on this side of the Large Scale Universe all the same. Steve
  15. Well then; in for a Penny, in for quite a few Pounds by the looks of it! (Some nice interior shots there John)
  16. Ditto. The talent on display is astounding, certainly bodes well for the state of the Hobby.
  17. Yes, I saw of those exploits on the Book of Face... "National Security is in jeopardy Mr. President... our best Man spent most of Sunday carousing by the pool in a terry-cotton Onesey and is unfit for duty!"
  18. So... and what else did you do this weekend?
  19. That's a whole lotta resin... A bit big for my tastes (and display options) but it's certainly a unique subject and would stand out in any collection. Also intrigued by this photo held by a friend of a friend... we're none of us getting any younger! S
  20. Hi Harv, Long time no see... welcome back! Steve
  21. Thank you Jim... An important release of the early Medium SPW. Thanks to a multitude of kits already on the market from mostly Dragon and AFV, there's a whole suite of aftermarket available for the basic '251, from wheels (to replace those tyres) and running gear to stowage equipment and a variety of small arms to add that extra finesse. A definite must-have for the Heer Halftrack fan.
