  1. Quite good! Didn‘t see that on the other pics! And the details are very crisp! Never heard of this supplier before!
  2. Great progress Wolf. Awesome looking pit!
  3. Great paintjob and recovery of the mishap Carl! This really is a big beast! I‘m curious how you will weather it!
  4. Small update today: Steel at the exhaust repainted (so that I can mask it for the upper camo application): and completely masked bottom: AK Real Color 007 yellow was used: Panellining still visible And a side view: Black outlines will follow on the weekend.
  5. Awesome stuff! Especially the seat harness is incredible! Very well done by Barracuda!
  6. That’s the original spinner of a 109 G: The hole is ovoid. This is not captured correctly by most suppliers except Henry Dähne.
  7. And that’s exactly the reason why I bought the correction set from Alley Cat. It‘s really a mess that you wasted your time on the control surfaces! But the prop seems to lack the ovoid holes for the propeller blades in the spinner?
  8. Great looking close-ups Rob. On these fotos one can really see how beautiful the shiny paintjob is. This kind of painting can also be used for airliners with their shiny white fuselages. BTW: the lights look awesome…
  9. I‘m flashed too Rob! Perfect shiny surface! Stunning !
  10. That’s a lot of progress you did Gary although you have a cold! Hope you are getting better meanwhile. Never heard of Synthetic Ordnance Works before but seems to be an awesome stuff! Looking at the dry-fitting everything seems to be ok as well as the fit of the landing gear. I‘m of the same opinion like you: no 109 F/G on the market in 32nd scale without the need for AM. That’s really a shame. I‘m really looking forward to seeing the new 109 from Zoukei-Mura! Hopefully without many mistakes.
  11. Blame it on Wednesday morning or that Germany lost 0:2 against England but I‘m following already your beautiful build! Shame on me (but I‘m close to 60 if that’s an excuse…)
  12. Nice ships Kevin. The weathering looks spot-on. I only have the 1/350 scale Revell Bismarck in my stash which I hopefully build sometimes.
  13. Now the beauty is finished! Gorgeous work Mark! All the beautiful details and the stunning paintjob make it look like the real thing! Which Ferrari will you build? Will for sure follow this build in the first row!
  14. Masking of the outlines of the black/ yellow triangles on the lower sides took longer than expected. Had to work a lot with the rule of three since no exact measurements were available. Just photos and drawings: The resulting masking looks like this: And finally - as a control- the dimensions of the inner yellow triangle: As soon as the yellow color arrives (AK Real Color RC 007) I will start with the painting.
  15. Stunning progress on the slats Frank. You put (again) a lot of work in it and it came out looking perfect!
  16. The bodywork looks really nice as it should Rob! Awesome work! Good trick with the clear orange and the Molotow Chrome! Will try that too on the position lights of my aircraft.
  17. Great start Rich! Unbelievable how you created the master tyre! Will follow this as your last build! You can reserve a place for me in the 1st row in the middle.
  18. Carl, my method is close to Garys but I use Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500 which also fills up the „hole“. After that I sand the complete area with 1000 grid sandpaper and finish the whole area with 2000 grid. If wanted superfinish can be done with 8000 or 12000 grid sanding cloth.
  19. Stunning build and presentation Gary! You really have the skills to build all kinds of models!
  20. The face of the Panzerkommandant looks quite realistic Gary. Love the red earphones!
  21. Great work on the pit and the Reflexvisier is stunning Gary!
