  1. Nice to get to know your wife Gaz!
  2. Looked that up now in the Ta-152-bible: It seems to be the emblem of III./JG301 and not the personal emblem of Willi Reschke.
  3. Thanks Kev, really appreciate your feedback. This is the positive side of building this kit: It’s a real challenge and also always a chance to try and learn new techniques...
  4. Awesome job and documentation Mike! Looks like a lot of work necessary But it’s no WNW kit...
  5. That’s really an ugly tank but the build is beautiful so far! I’m.curious how it will look like with paint on it!
  6. Thanks Hubert! That‘s no nitpicking! You are totally right! Thanks for the advice! You should always tell things to me which you observe. That’s the one of the reasons for In-Progress-Posts. 4 eyes always see more than 2! I will sand the leading-edges thinner to a more realistic look! And it’s necessary on both sides. Thanks again and your comments are more than welcome! Kai
  7. The further the build goes the more I can understand you Frank! I only hope that there won’t occur many issues with the landing gear or the stores (tanks and rockets). I also have the E-Version in my stash which I plan to build as a late Swiss RS with canards and other goodies from Matterhorn Circle. But this moves now to the very end of my list...
  8. Thanks for your feedback Peter! Painting the Corsair was a real challenge and I learned a lot regarding airbrushing and other weathering techniques. It was also the first model on which I used my H&S Infinity Airbrush. Since then it’s my reliable tool. You can really do everything with it. Figure painting is not that difficult. Maybe you can try it once again when building the He-219...
  9. Thank you Harv! Much appreciated!
  10. Thank you very much! With Alclad or AK extreme metal unpainted areas are easy to paint nowadays.
  11. Thank you for your nice feedback Peter!
  12. Thank you Rob! I only managed to make the complete cowl-halfs removable. Other things were impossible. I have the ZM He-219 in my stash which I hopefully will build once...
  13. Thank you Gaz! Really appreciate that! As far as I remember it‘s the personal emblem of Willi Reschke.
  14. Thanks Martin, much appreciated!
  15. Thank you! I kept weathering to a minimum simply because these birds had no time to weather! Neither from flying hours nor time in the unit they served in.
  16. Nice choice Alberto! I‘m building the one on the photo attached and I have the IsraDecal Set for them. Since there are a lot of more 3-tone-variants included in the set I could send you some photos of the other possible variants and could then send the corresponding decals to you, if you like. Maybe we could do this via PM. Kai
  17. Yesterday I reworked the intakes with a lot of sanding where I removed the pins mentioned above. Now it looks like as it should. Also started to sand the nose and the tailcone. Will loose a lot of detail I have to rescribe and rivet again. But it’s getting more and more to shape...
  18. Thank you Alberto! Nice to hear that someone else takes the challenge to build this model. For sure I will follow your build here! Have already taken a look.
  19. Very nice progress so far! Cockpit looks really convincing Alberto! Which livery will you build?
  20. Great work on the front office John! Looking mighty good!
  21. Simply awesome work Martin! This will be a stunner!
  22. Here are some pics of my Ta-152 from Zoukei Mura on a diorama called „Willi Reschke“. The model was built out of box with EagleCals decals. The pilot is from Aires and the fuel barrel out of a Tamiya set with a hose out of lead-wire. Paints came from Tamiya and Gunze. The metal surfaces were painted with Alclad. I made the engine-cowls open- and closeable. Lots of sanding and plastic sheet needed. Won‘t do it again. Thanks for looking. Kai
  23. Can only copy what Hubert said Mike: Every bird you build is stunning! Nice diorama with the mechanics. But cutting of the grass is urgently needed...
  24. Awesome car and diorama. Love the rust! Some figures on it would even bring more life to it.
  25. Stunnig Details! Beautifully done!
