  1. Welcome on board Dagovee, kick back, put your feet up and enjoy the forum.
  2. C'mon Harv, he's a friend of both of us on that FB place, we can ambush him to get him on here!
  3. Just superb! She really is a big bird, but... with a very trim waist and I'm incredibly jealous. Can you clarify something for me? The yellow circles, I know they're to denote armour plate but I recall reading that the circle is to "face the enemy" as you have it; in other words, it was an installation guide at the time. Is this how you understand it ? I assume it was the manner in which the armour plate was devised and manufactured that dictated which side should be exposed to weapons' fire so as to provide maximum protection to the occupants.
  4. Just a word or three ... Stunning, Stunning, Stunning !! I love this one, you've achieved a certain authenticity which in a scale such as this is beyond difficult. There's a fine line between authenticity and fake. You've trod that line without deviating superbly. Congratulations.
  5. Nice Darren, better than nice actually !!! Superb.
  6. Wow, thanks for that - that's really very useful. Would you say this is applicable for all Cartograf decals?
  7. I remember watching these being built and that's the reason I was so pleased when you joined LSM. These are beautiful pieces of work Johan.
  8. Great review Nick ... that's a huge up-grade kit and from what you've described, it really stands up against its retail price. A lot of bang for your buck as they say.
  9. Looks brilliant Jeroen ... even as it stands now.
  10. What you don't know is that beer can is 3 litres in size and the chick is actually a baby Condor Sure is a big build !!
  11. "I said the chambertin not the Dom Perignon you dolt" bang!!
  12. You need to get a Knick-Knack (from the Bond Film, "Man with the Golden Gun") - I can see it now! "Mr Reeck, Mr Reeck! Your gevrey chambertin is uncorked, I pour before you tie me up and shove me in a large scale plane??" :)
  13. I can't believe you're all mentioning eBay with my hearing! Sacrilege of the highest order. How very dare you 1:32 ? I agree about the Hobby Boss Spitfire or the Trumpeter 109E or even the Hasegawa FW190 (Nowotny version), Hasegawa Zero , Eduard's Bf109's too. 1:48 ? Eduard' Bf109 range, Tamiya's P-51, Spitfire Mk1, Beaufighter to Mosquito.
  14. The magazine would be outstanding Jeroen!! I agree, cast it and flog them via ME !! By the way, has anyone followed the "Fly on the wall" documentary of IMA called Family Guns? They are the largest antique arms dealers in the world after the owner found 50,000 muskets, 30 bronze cannon plus a mega load of other stuff in a cave in Napal. They bought the while lot and it took 50 truck loads to clear the cave of everything. They've gone on to buy - in bulk - arms and weapons from around the world. Amazing warehouses - like an Aladdin's cave. They've got EVERYTHING - Spandau's, Lewis Guns, uniforms, Lugers, SMLE's M1 carbines - MG's of all calibre s and sizes. Utterly phenomenal
  15. Yup, definitely up there with your best - that's becoming more and more the same with each build Jeroen. This is gorgeous.
  16. Beautiful ... I love this kit and you've turned it into something stunning.
  17. Wow, wouldn't have thought about drawing the wood grain !! Very clever work Darren
  18. Whoa, Darren ! that's just superb. I agree with two things said earlier. 1) If the foam wasn't there you'd think it was the real thing and ... 2) We all would love to see a step by step explanation
  19. Nice progress Daz, this is coming on really well Sir. Keep 'em coming!
  20. Oh, I SO want that!! I've seen these prop/sound track things before but nothing that looked as good as that.
  21. Lovely work Darren - looking forward to more. Grant.
  22. Conveyor belt more like Jeroen. Sharp and sweet Jim.
