Could it be a Cuban Invader? -
The painter could just be using Tamiya jars for paint pots. Filling them as needed from large cans. I've done that.

Nothing. I am immersed in Vectrics V Carve Pro. Making the great leap from singular dimensional work. -
43 years January 1976. Kit was $10 USD. Nice review upbeat and not so shreddy.

A lot of work and the comparison fuselage is great. How about both fuse with a pic of the real thing to show the diff in the stock fuse and your example? -

lol 'neck mounting' What could possibly go wrong... As far as the CM , gets some .transfer tape ' from a sign supplier. Comes in 1" - 36" rolls. Wheel a piece of 12" off and lay it on the carpet , It will pick up anything there.

Not only an American problem. Many Canadaians all seem to feel that they have been hard done by and have to pass that on to their employer. Working in open shops my whole life , I can tell you some stories , many of them ending with the offender pleading he thought it was ok. Find trusted employees if you can and trust no-one else. -
I don't let them look through the kits either , I had to pay for that privilege . This after I noticed that's all a few guys wanted , a quick violation of the kit and they weren't interested in it any more. This year I'm bringing 80 -100 pre-made model base' : Some pre-lasered with brick and pavement detail: Here: https://www.facebook.com/Custom-Model-Base-Service-2693828500632275/?modal=admin_todo_tour

Not the worst Ive seen or heard. Model forums being what they are. I remember one guy stating his model was mediocre. I agreed. What followed was THE worst repercussions I've ever experienced . This goof and his chickenshit 'crew' then went on to destroy the forum , one of the best that ever was , with a more than decent owner, and did it all way worse than anything I did or said , blaming ME for THEIR actions ! So the guy will pay and he will be made to pay way more than he deserves and the actions of the people making him pay will be his fault no matter how despicable and disgusting those actions are. I have vended at IPMS events and yes some guys are cheap , some guys are ignorantly cheap , some guys are fat , and some guys smell pretty bad. It doesn't make any diff to me , I tell them to fuck off if they need it , smelly ,ugly, fat or cheap. Sounds to me as if he has more than a few bad days , and this was one of them. He will be made to pay - as evidenced by some of the comments here.

C&D that as well as the judgemental . singular , old boys club mentality...

The teacher does not take lessons from the students! lol I like these types of threads as the appearance of nonchalance gives the impression that the work is being done for personal satisfaction , rather than model forum 'atta-boy's' . And that's the way it needs to be. Singular subject and work ethic will always pay off.

I would recommend Smooth-On . They have smaller kits for silicone moulding and resin casting. Proven to be worth the money. You'll need material for boxes , I used left over Sintra: Moulds for 4 bladed 1/32 Gotha props and 1/8 Hillclimber wheels and hubs: A tipor two ; -Build your moulds and then fill them with water to estimate the volume for resin and silicone mixing. -Mix the living pi$$ out of the silicone and the resin. These items were done in metal , but the process is essentially the same.

CAD learning curve flattening, Its all coming back form the '80's when I worked on router tables in sign shops. I managed to layout the work on this burl slice nicely: The heart is a 2 piece box and the rectangular chung for a model base. -
