Thanks fellas! I wouldn't mind one bit if Tamiya did that. Here's hoping!

Finally decided on what to do next. I had started work on this Hasegawa Hellcat a while back and, for some reason, decided to back-burner it. Now I think I will finish it. Here's the a/c I plan to do. I'm sure the situation had a high pucker factor for the pilot!

Thanks guys. It looks like the Dutchdecals will work so now I'll see if I can find some. Thanks again!

LOL guys! For now that damn P-61 is staying on the SOD. It has too many cuss-factors to be enjoyable. I'll get back to it some time when I'm feeling like cussing! LOL

I have the very nice Grey Matter Seafire conversion and am considering getting started on that. I haven't been able to find any 1/32 Seafire decals though and I wonder if anyone makes any. My preference is a a/c in the BPF with late war markings. All help is appreciated. Thanks!!!!

LOL No, I just wanted to keep SOMETHING on the bench. However, I DO have 2 of each in my stash.

Thanks Rob. Fit problems with after market stuff seems to be the usual thing. I quit buying a couple of brands for that reason. I'll keep the Brassin engine in mind for a later build though. Thanks again.

Thanks Harv and Kai. Now to decide on what to do next......

I was at loose ends after finishing the Trumpeter P-47D-11 so, to keep busy, I decided to build this R2800 from one of my unbuilt Corsair kits. When I decide to build another Corsair I'll already have the engine done.

Looking good! I would be too lazy to do all that extra stuff Kai. This should turn out to be a exceptional build! -
Looking good!

Parts are in the mail Peter.

They will go in the mail tomorrow Peter. Glad to help!

I have those parts Peter. Left over from previous builds. 3 itty bitty parts. Send me a PM with your address and I'll mail 'em to you. John

Thanks Carl. I'm glad also as I was growing weary of this build. I'm ready to start on something else (to be determined). -
My First Heartbreak 27/Jan/19
JohnB replied to GazzaS's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
Go for it Gaz. I've been considering one or two "nostalgia builds". I think the old Lindberg aircraft carrier "Wasp" will be a great start. I still have the one I built as a kid. I rescued it from the attic a while back. Certainly the worse for wear. LOL -

Thanks Ernie! It's funny. While building this model I came to realize the razorback jug is not one of my favorite airplanes. It's okay but I just don't have the "feel" for it if you know what I mean. -
Thanks Peter. Now to decide on what's next!
