The Sikorsky also has the short sponson on the H-3 A through D and G models. Of more notes, the AC generator bulge on the doghouse, the Tail Boom Strake, the vents in the engine doors, the vent behind the cockpit, and the behind the cargo door fuel option. The 6 blade tail rotor was thought to make i more efficient, but did little more than add weight, but the strake! It really helped! I love the Sea King!

I'm not an Oracle on all things Westland, but I have a depth of knowledge on it, and yes, it is all Westland built for sure. Lots of little details, that the discernible eye will see. I will eventually get several. but not yet.

Holy! I'm jealous as all getout! Both of those are high up on top of my wishlist!

Got my 4 mask sets from Top Notch! wow, time savers for sure! I was going to make my own, but decided it was too much work. Glad I did, worth every penny! I'll take pictures tomorrow, but suffice it to say, that the 72nd Vulcan and the 32nd Lancaster has 4 LARGE sheets each of masks! Top Notch IS in fact TOP NOTCH!

Just got a Trumpy Mustang III, instrument panel, seat belts and new sticks for my 24th Spitfire, including norgie decals from 132nd wing North Weald. Also ordered Top Notch masks for the spit in 32nd, 24th, Lanc in 32nd, and Vulcan in 72nd!

Went to Kansas City, visited the mother-ship (Spruebros). got some aftermarket for 3 of my kits! Hurricane gets an instrument panel, masks and seat belts!, Spitfire gets masks and seat belts, lanc gets masks!

nope! It's a Westland license built machine, so all fasteners are 11/32nd not 3/8ths... Also there are a few differences on the fuselage, like a bulge on the doghouse for the AC generator, and a few equipment exhausts on the starboard side below the pilots window. Amongst others! However, I will be able to build three different Norwegian versions, and also 6 or so RAF and RN ones! Cheers H

Since it was announced, several crates of the Westland Sea King by Airfix. Well at least a box of them...

I got the 24th Spitfire from AIrfix, a Gr.4 Tornado from Italeri, and a KH F-86K!
