John Terrific progress on the '109' and she looks good. From you photographs, a sealer coat of clear gloss and all the decals will blend in perfectly. Some mighty nice work

Thanks Phil I haven't tried any of the Red Fox sets yet but will give them a go later this year. One thing I really appreciate about the Quinta sets are seat belts and harnesses are included and RF doesn't. For me, that is a big difference and money saver as well. The seatbelts and Sutton harnesses are from the Quinta set.

Thanks Rob, just followed the excellent mini-instructions, a set of Tamiya instructions and a few pics and all was well. I find using Micro Krystal Kleer works perfectly, with plenty of time for adjustments and I've been using Quinta decals this from the first time I tried them and never has a single decal fallen off.

Phil Very much appreciated. It was nice to smell and work with such vintage blue plastic and even the raised panel lines weren't an issue at all. The most time consuming part of the built: masking the greenhouse canopies.

Thanks Martin. much appreciated. It's been decades since I built my first Monogram Kingfisher (back in the early 70's) and I was biting at the bit to take my time machine and recapture a bit of my youth. Surely turned out to be a terrific journey.
