Rob Agreed and these days, almost all my jet models in the stash are 48th scale. I've been slowly collecting mainly Tamiya and ZM kits with a few Hobby Boss kits as well. I also have been buying Quinta detail sets for them as well, as I am addicted to using them. -

Sasha Very nice detailing and work on the main gear. -
Chris Nice haul for sure. Looking forward to your Spit Mk VIII build.

John You simply amaze me 👍

Gaz Brilliant update and your eye for detail is amazing ... the sailors' hats as an example are from late war and the build is pre war. The woodwork and linoleum look so good and perfectly done. I'm with Chris in that my modeling skills nowhere encompass what is needed for ship modeling and figures. I do envy you guys who have such talents I lack and so much appreciate following your work and all the photographs along the journey. linoleum.

Rob WOW, the second catapult and the stern crane look absolutely perfect, as with boats and their cradles. To my eye, the PE work is just brilliant and will look even better when painted and installed on deck. So glad you will be going with 'full' photographs of the Arizona when done, as they certainly will be a joy to see, high lightening the detail and the beauty of the build. Prior to the completion, I just wanted to thank you for the detailed PE techniques you have shared with us - will certainly become a technique I'll be using down the road.

Kev Looking so good and your light weathering adds wonderfully without distracting rom all the detail work. Going to be a good week for sure.

John Cammo paint work looking mighty good - perfectly done.

Jeroen Sweet! The details on the fuel tank look terrific.
-
Oliver Absolutely superb - can't find anything new to complement your work - just brilliantly done. Weathering is so realistic, it almost as if I needed to send the crew chief over to do a bit of cleaning.🏆 You never can posy enough photographs.

Chris Just take your time, you're making terrific progress. Old kits have a lot of extra work as we use to accept so much as acceptable as compared to today and now having to make all those adjustments is a lot of work. You're over the hump and on your way to the paint shop in the not to distant future. 😉 I'm sure with some test fitting, the wing will not have the same issues as your 1/72 Cat did. 🤞 I always look at once all the glass is fitted and masked, the toughest part of the build is over and the fun begins: air brushing and decals. -
Kev (J) Thanks it was a nice trip back down memory lane and the Kingfisher had it's moments for sure. Thank you also for the very kind comments on my photography as well.

Thanks Kev, very much appreciated.

Fran I hope the scale listing for the Fairey Fulmar and Fairey Battle is a mistake and they will be in 1/32nd scale. Still a bit nervous when it comes to the Devastator and anything is possible at this stage of the game. -
Thanks Gaz, a technique I'm planning on using a bit not to far down the road.

Kev All the hard work is paying off in big dividends, as she is looking so good. Some algae streaks sound just fine but not too much.

Chris Terrific progress on the Big Cat. Lot of tweaking and sanding did the trick and the rudder and fits so very well now. After having gone through what seemed liked endless days of masking on the Kingfisher, I know how you must feel seeing all the glass on and looking so good with the masks in place - thumbs up on such a tedious procedure. You're getting closer and closer to priming and the paint shop. -
