Kev Looking so good but if frustration is reeling you in, take a good break until you feel the juices are flowing at a 100% again. No rush, just too spectacular of a build for that.

Amazing work and way beyond my skills for sure. -
Oliver WOW, what an awesome tutorial on how to do the exhaust and it's booked marked.

ZM Bf109 work in progress

John Terrific progress on the '109' and she looks good. From you photographs, a sealer coat of clear gloss and all the decals will blend in perfectly. Some mighty nice work -
Revell 1/32 Spitfire Mk IIa

Thanks Phil I haven't tried any of the Red Fox sets yet but will give them a go later this year. One thing I really appreciate about the Quinta sets are seat belts and harnesses are included and RF doesn't. For me, that is a big difference and money saver as well. The seatbelts and Sutton harnesses are from the Quinta set. -

Thanks Rob, just followed the excellent mini-instructions, a set of Tamiya instructions and a few pics and all was well. I find using Micro Krystal Kleer works perfectly, with plenty of time for adjustments and I've been using Quinta decals this from the first time I tried them and never has a single decal fallen off. -
Phil Very much appreciated. It was nice to smell and work with such vintage blue plastic and even the raised panel lines weren't an issue at all. The most time consuming part of the built: masking the greenhouse canopies.

Thank You Paul

Thanks Martin. much appreciated. It's been decades since I built my first Monogram Kingfisher (back in the early 70's) and I was biting at the bit to take my time machine and recapture a bit of my youth. Surely turned out to be a terrific journey.

John I have no doubts you will come up with just the right bit for the needed part.

John Nice work on the front office - looking real good.

Thanks Scott and I can only imagine given the size of the Seaview. My Kingfisher is just a mini build compared to what you are accomplishing with the Seaview project.

Oliver WOW the exhaust look so well worn and used and the engine is a work of art. 🏆

Thanks Oliver - coming a long nicely and nice to be making progress. -
Thanks Martin A nice trip back to the past and in the end, a fun build that had a few tricks up her sleeve. Of course, it showed how we remembered the past, was always the case.

Rockie Much appreciated

Rob, thanks so much. Even with the few setbacks and needing a second kit, the Monogram Kingfisher was a lot of fun and brought back good memories. Hoping the Kingfishers on your USS Arizona will be the same.

Scott Just can't have panel lines and rivets - never thought about them that way. 😉 -

Scott Nice prep work on the Sub - paint work should be smooth as silk. -

Thanks Dennis. Time marches on and the Quinta set truly brings up the detail and interest level of the kits front office without needing to spend hours sorting through a lot of resin upgrade parts. -

Thanks Carl, much appreciated. I did almost the same on a Tamiya F-14, forgetting to install the compressor blades. Nice to know we have all been down that road.
