  1. Carl Sometimes not following the instructions build order actually helps the construction flow a lot smoother and keeps our interest up. I do have one question: I've also read that the gear retraction locks need to be removed but why? Was it the practice of Bomber Command not to use the locks between missions? Keep 'em comin Peter
  2. Kriss Terrific work on the front office. Details and aluminum bracing look so good. Curious about the seatbelts ... are they from the kit or Eduard? Keep 'em comin Peter
  3. Looking forward to following the Tunnan build with great interest - going to be a gem for sure Keep 'em comin Peter
  4. I'm just blown away ... the level of detail is beyond what I would have ever thought and you skills in working your way through such delicate and intricate assemblies is amazing Keep 'em comin Peter
  5. Kriss Right with Martin and will be following with great interest. Keep 'em comin Peter
  6. Jeroen Flaps and insignia looking so good and knowing the finish line is in clear sight, it's almost a bit sad this build thread will be over. Keep 'em comin Peter
  7. Right with Harv ... super work on the figures head .. Not quite Charlie Bronson but close. Keep 'em comin Peter
  8. Cees Nice work on using the Revell kit for your conversion. You just can never have enough Phantoms. Keep 'em comin Peter
  9. John progress simply at Superman's speed. Plug and wing roots look mighty good. Keep 'em comin Peter
  10. Rob Go for it ... something so very different and the end result will be a gorgeous display model and a build we will all learn from. So glad you finished redoing/upgrading your workshop and it helps fire up the juices. We're still in the middle of our home renovation but my studio/hobby room is done as well as the main bathroom. I'm hoping to start a new build soon but painting will be an issue as dust seems to be a main product of the renovation. Will be sitting front and center for the entire journey Keep 'em comin Peter
  11. Rich Fantastic progress and the detailing - brilliant Keep 'em comin Peter
  12. Gaz Thank you for the tip about working with friendly CA materials - something I haven't given much thought to but makes so much sense. Completely agree that when reaching a point, painting faces that you are happy with, call it done and move on. Trying to keep improving and adding normally does correct one thing and causes issues with others. For my money, your work is so very well done and if I was capable of doing figures/faces half as good as yours, I would be ecstatic. Keep 'em comin Peter
  13. Kriss Right with Phil, beautiful start on the IP - looking so good. Keep 'em comin Peter
  14. Carl Good news and a BIG Thanks to Martin Keep 'em comin Peter
  15. Jeroen Incredible and the clock working .. amazing. Keep 'em comin Peter
  16. Gaz Holy smokes - the head sets and 'wiring for sound' details look fantastic. Looking fantastic Keep 'em comin Peter
  17. Carl Seems you really do not need to include the engines but if you leave them out, some how, things seems to bite your in the rear at the end. maybe installing them would be the best way to go Keep 'em comin Peter
  18. John Nice work on the prop and hub - looks great Keep 'em comin Peter
  19. Cees I know, I guess sometimes I shouldn't use my signature as it really doesn't fit. Enjoyed following your progress and now an RN version. Keep 'em comin Peter
  20. Carl Nice work on the flaps and engine nacelles. Always seems to be something and one fix creates issues just down the line. Keep 'em comin Peter
  21. Gaz Super work on the figures - poses look so realistic. Keep 'em comin Peter
  22. I'm front and center and along for the entire journey. Keep 'em comin Peter
  23. John Completely agree ... the color schemes are amazing and add so much interest. Keep 'em comin Peter
  24. Carl Agreed - just way too many tweaks and corrections and eventually, it seems to kill the mojo Keep 'em comin Peter
