  1. Phil Sounds great ... looking forward to the latest pics Keep 'em comin Peter
  2. Kev Looking so good. The individual panels add just the right feel and the decaling looks perfect with not a hint of carrier film in sight! Keep 'em comin Peter
  3. Phil Nice progress on the Old gal .. she is going to be a stunner. Keep 'em comin Peter
  4. Kev Nice going and glad you didn't give up. I know it's after the fact but a tip that may come in useful the next round of doing a NMF. Once my gloss black surface is prepared, I use either a .2 or .35 tip, working pressure around 12 psi and repeated light coats. The aluminum finish slowly builds up and self levels. I'm close to the model, maybe a bout 1-1.5 inches away, to minimize any chance of the Alclad starting to dry before reaching the model. Sometimes, a bit of retarder helps if the humidity is very low, especially in winter. Looking so good Keep 'em comin Peter
  5. Rob The joys of Phantom modeling ... stencils unlimited and seem never ending. So glad you are taking your time and going the full route. When I stenciled my Tamiya F4B, I knew right from the start I wasn't going to even attempted to apply half of them, as I would most likely still be adding them one at a time at a snails pace. Just don't have it in me to do that type of work any more. After seeing how brilliant your Kai Phantom looks, it's the right way to go. Keep 'em comin Peter

  11. Good news for auto modelers .. I've been collecting and will hopefully start building some later this year after the renovation. Unfortunately, it looks as if Tamiya has abandon 32nd scale aircraft and will only continue the range with it's current lineup. Keep 'em comin Peter
  12. Very sad news indeed Keep 'em comin Peter
  13. Latest Jetmads News: I just received this email regarding the second batch of Viggen models: - We are pleased to inform you that the production is in full swing, both 3D printed and cast parts. Instructions booklets, boxes and decals are being printed. Currently there is no change in plans to start the shipment around mid-March, after the arrival of decals. Kind Regards, JETMADS Team

  17. Just catching up .. the Nor'easter dropped a ton of snow (nearly two feet) in our area and we were very lucky not to loose power or have any damage. As a kid, snow was fun and looked forward to. Now in my mid 70" it's just the opposite ! Keep 'em comin Peter
  18. Harv It's always something and Diane and I decided now was the time to do a complete reno; we made a list of everything we wanted done, hired a contractor who had to work to around my medical restrictions (John has been great) and we were off and running. So far, it's taking longer for each phase but we keep adding things and of course, the cost goes up. our home but it's our last chance to to have everything the way we want. Keep 'em comin Peter

  22. John I think you are living on pure 100 octane! Going to be a great build and will be following all the way Keep 'em comin Peter
  23. Terrific progress .. the ejection seats look mighty good in their homes and have to agree, the upper wing weathering looks a bit much but that just might be from the lightning; just takes a lot of 'wattage' to keep the dark colors from appearing darker. Keep 'em comin Peter
  24. Kai I marvel at how you handle the electronics. I'm happy to just the batteries in the correct way Yup, Italeri strikes again. Seems that their mold makers went to the same school as Airfic and Revell. Keep 'em comin Peter
