  2. John I'm seated front and center and will be following intently . Just a great venue you branched out into the - thoroughly amazing work and so enjoyable to follow Keep 'em comin Peter
  3. Carl Nice start on the Lanscaster Dambuster conversion and I'll be following so very intently . Over on Nigel's Modelling bench, he had started the same kit and did quite a bit of corrections including the engines - I'm not sure if he has an nacelle correction sets left as I do not have the kit. Nige is a walking encyclopaedia on the Lancaster and his corrections to the kit are spot on. His build is on hold now, as he is waiting for the Border lancaster to arrive. Keep 'em comin Peter
  4. Hi Gaz I know what you mean and I've been there and that. On my F-14 build I spent hours on the intakes assemblies and then forgot to glue them in place and didn't realize what I did until it was way too late. I think we're all members of a special club that does this very thing and rest assured, it will happen again to all of us in the future. Keep 'em comin Peter
  5. Kriss Welcome aboard and a terrific start on the Falco. Will be following with great interest Keep 'em comin Peter

  8. Carl Nice to see you're going back to work on the B-24. Is Takom going to replace the warped turret? Sure hope so. Keep 'em comin Peter
  9. Alan Nice work on the figure - looks mighty good Keep 'em comin Peter
  10. Phil Watched it yesterday as well and the kit is beyond belief. A few things hold me back from considering buying it: Size, cost and the time it would require to actually build it. And of course, convincing the Chief it's a once in a lifetime opportunity - not a chance. Keep 'em comin Peter
  11. Ernie Nice to have you back and I'm trying to get myself back in thew saddle health wise as well plus the house reno we have underway Keep 'em comin Peter
  12. Carl Nice progress on the Hurricane and nothing looks better when you're in the painting stages. Keep 'em comin Peter
  13. Hi John Completely agree Xtracolor RAF Oxford Blue. is a much better color match. Keep 'em comin Peter
  14. I remember way back when I stumbled upon the original Squadron Hobby Shop in Syosset, NY in the early 1970's and was amazed at much far the hobby had changed from the late 50's and 60's. But if anything can be said, it was truly an out of the pocket expense hobby, with for less then $5, you could buy a nice 72nd scale kit, paints and glue and even Microscale Decals. My have times changed. Keep 'em comin Peter
  15. Carl Nice paint find. Have you tried the Tru Scaler paints yet? Need to do a bit of research on them ... pretty new to me Keep 'em comin Peter
  16. John Got ya! Keep 'em comin Peter
  17. Kent Across the finish line and rolled out into the sun. Just a spectacular build and a joy to follow. Keep 'em comin Peter

  19. Awesome, just awesome Keep 'em comin Peter
  20. John I'm pretty sure the doctor said you need to come up for air - I've never seen you build at this pace before - you've easily hit your stride Keep 'em comin Peter.
  21. Hubert My money is on the Devastator coming in last no matter who the competition is. My chances of winning the lottery are better then the kit ever showing up for sale anywhere on the planet. Keep "em comin Peter
  22. Rob My thoughts exactly and I'm keeping an eye for the Renault RE-20 and will jump on it as soon as it is available. I'll be following your build, front and center. Keep 'em comin Peter
  23. Carl She is a beauty and maybe when I get my Ferrari underway, you might find the erg to dive in. Right now, we're pretty much on hold with the reno for a good few more weeks, so I might crack open the box and start cutting and gluing plastic - it's been a long time and I hope I haven't forgotten how. Keep 'em comin Peter
  24. Kent Incredible work -- looking so good Keep 'em comin Peter
  25. Rob I'm just blown away - what a build and to my old eyes, pure perfection. I'm starting to think that some of today's manufacturers have made some alterations in the formulation for the clear plastic and/or the chemicals in the new finishing products aren't as compatible in years past. Your completed Kai Phantom is a Show Stopper Keep 'em comin Peter
