  1. John I remember every one going back a lot of years. Each and everyone, a gem! Looking forward to following your journey. Just thought I would chime in with one of mine, as we built them pretty much the same time. Keep 'em comin Peter

  9. Marin Holy Smokes - what a build and just love your approach and detailimg. Kudos on the awesome work Keep ‘em comin Peter
  10. Harv Looking simply outrageous. Completely agree with Gaz, that there is a point, where there is actually too much detailing, complicating the build and the fit. Their He219 is a perfect example. Mine has been on hold tor a long lime as dealing with the fit problems caused by the details wore me out. Keep ‘em comin Peter

  12. Gaz Looking mighty nice .. kust love the whole build Keep ‘em comin Peter
  13. John Paint work is perfect as always and we’re now neck and neck. Of course you are easily going to pass me on the way to the finish line as my Corsair is sharing bench space/time with a ZM F4J Phantom. I’ve been finding it a great mojo builder alternating between builds and scales as I don’t seem to get bogged down as much. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  14. Nige Looks real good as nothing escapes your eye Keep ‘em comin Peter
  15. Amazing work - detailing is fantastic Keep ‘em comin Peter
  16. Harv Hang in there, you will hear from ZM. I contacted them on a kit problem a few years back, received an email and the parts .. just takes a bit of time. Nice work on the engine (s). Keep ‘em comin Peter
  17. Gaz Looking mighty good - terrific progress Keep ‘em comin Peter
  18. Mike Now I’ve seen everything - spark plugs look terrific Keep ‘em comin Peter

  22. Gaz I do a lot of photography in the winter and when a scene is underexposed with snow, a lot of blue creeps in. As the under exposure increases, the light blue hue, starts to go more towards the grays. One thing that is important, trying to match colors to what you see on your monitor isn't a good idea. Most monitors that are not photographically calibrated every few weeks, the colors are off quite a bit, way too bright and bluish. It's a misconception that you can calibrate a monitor by eye regardless what the manufacturers say: you can't. What you wind up doing is adjusting the colors and brightness to what you like but not the standard. Believe me, as a photography being a session for almost my entire life, and especially in the digital age, don't rely on the colors you are seeing on your monitor or even in a book or magazine. Odds are what was posted wasn't those colors and the colors that were posted suffer the same. Back to the topic; just add a tinge of blue to the white to cool it off a bit and it should work just fine Peter
  23. Phil, I git lucky. I'm testing Hataka lacquers just to make sure they behave like Mr Color and not MRP Peter
  24. Thanks Scott I do have a nice supply of pipettes and try to use tem. Problem with MR Color, it's as thick as molasses and the pippetes have a hard time with them. I'll keep trying. One nice thing about Hataka, they are in a squeeze bottle. Peter
