  1. Mark Looking mighty good and as always, super progress.
  2. Martin Looking mighty good and nothing like a quick build to keep the juices going.
  3. Rob Quite the experiment and learning experience. The exhaust headers do look really good. Surely seems that when getting into kits with a lot of white metal and cast parts the magnetic tumbler polisher is the way to go. Just out of curiosity with shipping, it is an expensive piece of equipment.?
  4. John Even with some of the concessions, being able to create and print your own decals offers so many new and unique possibilities. Wish my limited computer skills would allow me to do it but at this stage of the game, I know what I can and can do on the pc and that's OK.
  5. Phil Nice choice for your second jet and some mighty nice work on the front office - looks good and busy. Yes, your method for doing the belts and harnesses worked exceptional well. One of the biggest differences for me between RedFox and Quinta is Quinta does come with seatbelts. They also make a Light Sets where there are no belts for less, but I always buy the Quinta sets with the seatbelts and have no issues with them and one less AM item to buy.
  6. John Pretty interesting on the unique parameters of the different carrier film. I guess, a lot of thought needs to go into the direction you want to go, so there aren't any surprises when you are ready to decal. Peter
  7. John WOW, your P-40 is a beauty and looks fantastic. Having the ability to make your own markings opens up a whole new world of possibilities.🏆
  8. Would be a perfect choice for sure and I remember the kit well.
  9. Carl Looking good and being on the underside is a huge plus.
  10. Ralph Nice choice of scheme and I also have fond memories of the old Revell and old Monogram kits. Always thought and Oldies GB would be a great change of pace and a nice trip down memory lane.
  11. Terrific choice of a unique set of markings. Paintwork and decals look perfect.
  12. Rob Some mighty nice progress on the 'Teeth" and a. excellent decision in replacing the kit's MG's with LMG 17/17 Parabellum from Gaspatch, as they look brilliant.
  13. Ralph Mighty nice and supersonic progress. Surely is going to be a fun and relaxing build.
  14. Paul, yup, you're on a roll and I only wish I was in my 60's again. Time just has a habit of going faster and faster, the older we get.
  15. Paul Got curious as to about how many kits are in the stash these days. I've been thinning mine out over the past few years, as the thought was to hedge against wanting to build a kit and is no longer available and having the must build kits, I never got around to in my earlier days. Being 76, I'm well into those senior days and trying to mainly first build what I've kept and only buying a kit here and there as need/desire dictates. 😉
  16. Arrived one day early from Hobbynut Models, one of our forum sponsors. Now just waiting for either Quinta or Eduard to let fly with a cockpit detail upgrade set. Photo; Britmodeler on Scalemates site. I cleaned up the photo a bit in Photoshop.
  17. Paul Nice purchases. Your stash amazing to see. Any chance of posting a few pictures?
  18. Mark Markin and stencil decals look perfect - well done as I know how long it takes to lay each one down correctly as my Tomcat had hundreds of them.🏆
  19. Any update on how Harv is doing? 🤞
  20. Ernie Glad you grabbed one and agreed, it's the best Marauder in any scale. Mine is out for delivery today and now I wait for hopefully either Eduard or Quinta to do a cockpit detail set.
  21. Chris How about a hint as to what the Special Mustang project is
