Ralph Nice choice of scheme and I also have fond memories of the old Revell and old Monogram kits. Always thought and Oldies GB would be a great change of pace and a nice trip down memory lane. -
Terrific choice of a unique set of markings. Paintwork and decals look perfect.

Rob Some mighty nice progress on the 'Teeth" and a. excellent decision in replacing the kit's MG's with LMG 17/17 Parabellum from Gaspatch, as they look brilliant. -

Ralph Mighty nice and supersonic progress. Surely is going to be a fun and relaxing build. -
Paul, yup, you're on a roll and I only wish I was in my 60's again. Time just has a habit of going faster and faster, the older we get.

Paul Got curious as to about how many kits are in the stash these days. I've been thinning mine out over the past few years, as the thought was to hedge against wanting to build a kit and is no longer available and having the must build kits, I never got around to in my earlier days. Being 76, I'm well into those senior days and trying to mainly first build what I've kept and only buying a kit here and there as need/desire dictates. 😉

Arrived one day early from Hobbynut Models, one of our forum sponsors. Now just waiting for either Quinta or Eduard to let fly with a cockpit detail upgrade set. Photo; Britmodeler on Scalemates site. I cleaned up the photo a bit in Photoshop.

Paul Nice purchases. Your stash amazing to see. Any chance of posting a few pictures?
-
Mark Markin and stencil decals look perfect - well done as I know how long it takes to lay each one down correctly as my Tomcat had hundreds of them.🏆

Gus WOW! Looking spectacular!

Any update on how Harv is doing? 🤞

Any thoughts on the ICM 1/48 B-26 Marauder? Is it worth $100?
Peterpools replied to CANicoll's topic in Modelling Discussion
Ernie Glad you grabbed one and agreed, it's the best Marauder in any scale. Mine is out for delivery today and now I wait for hopefully either Eduard or Quinta to do a cockpit detail set. -
Chris How about a hint as to what the Special Mustang project is

Carl Brilliant Phantom build for sure. -
Kev Right with you and completely agree. 👍
-
Scott, that always seems to be the question 😉
-
Scott I'm right with Martin, it's hard to know when not to do or add more. I'm waiting for the final images.
-
Chris Just go for it, It doesn't matter what is popular or not, it's what you want to be on display in your home to see each day.

Rob Still a skill that needs to be practiced along with a logical and workable method of application, which you have well mastered. Adjusting the whites can easily be done in a post processing program. If not, it's fine as is, as the work speaks for itself. I just have a habit of going a bit overboard when it comes to photography, which I shouldn't do. -
Chris From all I have read and videos I've followed, an awesome kit and I'll be following when you start your build thread. Double check, as I think the decals are Cartograf and a shame not to use them. 👍

Rob, same as you and have tested a number of auto modeler paints over the past few years. I found Gravity of Spain to be excellent, easy to order direct and I guess I was lucky and never a single color I wanted was out of stock. I haven't heard of Number Five and will be interested in your thoughts and comments after using them.

Scott WOW ... awesome build in every respect and you nailed the weathering worn by Tomcats so very effectively. Right with both Martin and Kev, beautiful work. 🏆
