Gaz, this is looking stunning, on the cupola just adding the lens and scuff marks brings to life. The insignia etc looks far better as masks, going to have to look into them. Are you going to weather this one up.........

Thanks Rob, you’re an absolute star, I’ll give it a go. I’ve tried the drill the hole and CA the chameleon into it, the CA is a bit old so doesn’t go off to quick.. I have a new tube , I’ll try that.......

Thanks Rob, I must admit I am struggling without the turnbuckles, I’ll try the micro tube.........as finances stand and going into 4 week lockdown plus still no work I see what I have instead of ordering stuff.......it may have to go back on the shelf......

Rob, much appreciated.......I see (or not ) what you mean about using the Chameleon..........did I read you can use heat to tension it up, I tried with a soldering iron near the line and it seemed to work????....... i actually wired the engine as well with lead wire, another first for me........still looks crappy against you what you guys produce......I read Mikes (Sandbaggers) notes on his Camel. He suggested 0.4mm tubing for the ferrels, I have some but cannot thread it......closest I have is 0.6mm, will work..?

I bought the concept notes for the P51. Very impressed as it has three other builds of the kit plus reference pics.....

I never realised how big the 335 was, your work is so precise unlike my ham fisted attempts..........

Why not pop it into the fuselage and hold together to see if it still looks bad!........so many times we huff and puff over stuff that we never see when we close them up, did you use Future?......we are all to self critical....
