  1. Unfortunately they are routing just to the east of me so I’ll not get to see them. Due over RAF Cranwell (closest to me) at 2.38pm…….
  2. Stunning build Kevin, congrats…….
  3. Neil, love the none blue or yellow version, stunning build…….
  4. Just catching up again, Rob soars ear to perfectly modelled tribute to the Arizona. You can now give your eyes a rest after all that PE………..
  5. Gaz, bloody hell………thats absolutely stunning and the modelling of the wave is unbelievable, congrats…………
  6. Congrats Bill, the number of people who said this was unbuildable. Stunning congrats………
  7. I do not believe anything this guy spouts, everything is either completely wrong or unbuildable……..
  8. Kriss, that’s what I call sprue of flash, so glad those days are behind us. I think y the oldest kit in the stash is a Monogram P38…….
  9. Looking good……….but seriously arrived in the post June 3rd………decals June 11th…………you have to be ………….
  10. Kevin, just catching up. Absolutely stunning build and great camo. Never built a 110 but this has piqued my interest, congrats……..
  11. Scott, looking very nice indeed. I’m concerned with my build for the GB that I’m going to be rushed to complete. I think you’re perfectly on target…….
  12. I’ve got a recollection that AVM Arthur “Bomber”Harris was stationed with these in the Middle East, well before Bomber Command….
  13. I’m with Rob on this one as I been remiss of reading WIP’s. Stunning build as ever Peter and the speed of construction is amazing. Clean and tidy is an understatement. I too haven’t built any Spitfires and one 51D that being ZM so my knowledge is sparse. Saying that the 51 resides on the SOD due to not being happily with the NMF and OOB decals are good (Cartograf) but do not inspire me to finish…….wish in some ways that manufacturers would not include markings so the modeller can buy the preferred scheme………just an idea…….
  14. This sneaked by me, stunning spit and only a week! You were presumably on holiday at the time……….now I’m going have to get a Spit……great photograph by the way…….
  15. Congrats on a stunning build, the WIP was excellent, thank you…….you’re on a roll with the Airfix 24th series. One kit I’ve never seen finish is their 24th Mossie…..
  16. Thanks appreciated. They certainly were small, the tracks were a little fiddly but go together well. Looking forward to your builds soon…….
  17. Welcome to LSM, our peaceful corner of the modelling web…..
  18. Gaz, thanks appreciated, I now need a PZ II…….
  19. Thanks Rob, much appreciated. I actually used the hairspray method over the German grey, quite pleased with the result. The dust is an old Mig Alcaline Dust pigment, not sure if it’s still available. The medium is just water…..
  20. Hi all, been meaning to post these pictures for awhile now. I completed this back in the new year and became engrossed in the Elco build and didn’t ever post these. WIP: Great kit as per usual from Dragon and the detailing is phenomenal. As I said in the build, the hull is only around 4” so pretty minute. Tried to render this one as an original Pz I that was the shipped off to North Africa. The decals came from the spares box. Hopefully the weathering and the application of the desert camouflage together with the original tactical markings, works. A very enjoyable build……….
