Thanks Peter, I’m enjoying this enormously, the bizarre thing I kept putting off starting this for quite a few years why I do not know……..

Engines almost finished and now mounted into the nacelles. Rear deck of the cockpit complete. Added the wiring harness with lead wire and scratch built brass cable clips which were the blackened. Fuel tanks complete and LG coming on, touch ups here and there. Props assembled and bosses in aluminium now to mask off and add the black blades. That’s where we are……

Gaz, absolutely stunning the finish is amazing and the figure adds scale and context. Wish my figure painting was a quarter as good. Congratulations ….

I’m sorry to hear that the build is no more. Whilst I very never actually binned a project (yet) the SOD is always there. Did you complete your P38? I reckon a Tamiya build to reset the mojo…….

Are you going to throw some weathering at it ?

Which software do you use, is it an AutoDesk product?

This passed me by, welcome back after the move. Bench looks good and something built is even better. That P38 is an oldy but goldy……….My previous house took 14.5 years to renovate so that meant zero bench time so you are not doing to bad……..

Peter, so glad the procedure went well and hopefully she will be on the road to recovery. Do I get the impression this is not a Tamiya esq build……….looking good in spite of the factors. I was considering a KH helo but Takom have bought out the UK Apache and Airfix the SeaKing so really not sure which to go for…..

Bloomin stunning Gaz, weathering is amazing. I did like the MG bay cover and how it had warped and distorted through continuous use………

Very nice detailing Ron, still cannot get over why they didn’t include an interior in the OOB. If RFM etc can do it in 35th it would be easier to tool in 16th……………hopefully the new M10’s will have some interior detailing …….

Great we are seeing more 16th and it may trigger some future modellers. Not the scale for me though…….
