  1. Kev, very very nice indeed. Congrats hope my KGV comes out half as nice…...
  2. Gaz, this is looking amazing, having built two ZM’s now I’d be happy to build many more………seriously considering this 109……
  3. Kevin, either you have a production line or you need one………..
  4. Agreed Peter are there any sprue shots yet, that’s what I’m waiting for……l
  5. I hear you on that one, I’m waiting for pictures of Rog’s stash warehouse……….
  6. Happy bday guys……
  7. Good luck Martin, we will hold your place at the bench……
  8. Chris, stunning camo, I haven’t built Revell for centuries, they always look very reasonable prices and in the right hands, not mine are stunning……..
  9. Thanks Rob, much appreciated, the engine had Mr Eduard’s PE added, First engine that I have been proud of…..
  10. Thanks Kevin, it’s been an interesting journey and then the red stripe incident. I’d even dipped the star decal in water when I realised, hope I can salvage the decal, I tried to dry it out immediately……
  11. Thanks Peter much appreciated, I reckon it’s a virus going around good name Black Cloud……not sure if to rub the red off and the patch in…..
  12. Thanks Rob, there is quite a lot of clutter, I even put the slings on the bolt action weapons…….man I must stop……. Not sure on the camo yet Rob, I’ll post some closed up pics….
  13. Thanks Peter, sometimes I think I go a little overboard on the grime but with petrol vapours everywhere I reckon it would a bit of mess after awhile…….
  14. Welcome to LSM Iain, it’s not often we hear from relatives who served…..
  15. Thanks Martin it’s all a learning curve. It was great to RMP leading the State Funeral procession.
  16. Time to close this one up, with these half tracks it’s a two step process……….everything now located “inside”
  17. So found some time this weekend plus today' State Funeral to get some bench time. ……..sprayed the gloss and started adding decals……..then realised the red strip on the fuselage, yep I’d sprayed the damn thing in the wrong place……….…….there is always something that goes wrong at the spraying or decal stage………damn….do a bit of strip of the rear area…….I think…….
  18. I’m of the opinion now, if I read and worry about accuracy debates, I would never build anything. I read that there was a Lancaster repair facility south of Lincoln. Apparently they chopped and welded anything and everything together to send an airworthy plane. ……….
  19. And no engine……..I like this a lot as it stops me thinking cowl on or off……haven’t built a Spit since probably 1972…….about time…..
  20. This amazing to find two relatives of same crew……
  21. This is going to be a gem when complete, you have more patience than I………
  22. Welcome aboard……
  23. Just catching up again Peter, good save on the nose and the primer looks great. Not sure if I’ll get to the bench this weekend, on Monday we have the State Funeral which I shall watch.
  24. Thanks Gaz, at least now I can build the stash up a little but having no time is a bummer……..
  25. Gaz, I know when work gets in the way of modelling but only just noticed your build and you are 4 pages in………looks like my retirement plan is on hold indefinitely as my company has accepted me working from home full time……..hence no time for modelling except for the weekends…….
